My LTW (goal when joining SP) was 180lbs. At the time I joined it meant that I had more than 100 pounds to lose! The first year on Spark I was very goal centered. By my anniversary I had lost almost 40 pounds.
In the little over 2 years since then I have managed to roughly maintain that loss (going up and down within a 8 pound range). BUT I have not lost anymore.
So starting today I am going to go back to being Goal centered and see if I can reach that LTW this year!!!
This months Aspirations are: 1) Eat more fresh fruits and vegitables! minimum of 3 servings a day - but try for 5 2) Get consistent with exercise - 20 to 30 minutes a day 3) Stay motivated - once a week read a motivational story or quote and reflect on how I could apply that to myself.
I have been unhappy with my weight for a while now. I lost 40 lbs. and was about to my goal weight 3 years ago but because I did not make it a lifestyle change, the weight has slowly crept back on.
My husband is helping to motivate me by challenging me to lose the weight by Mother's Day. If I do, he will take me to Hawaii in November for our 10th anniversary.
I would like to make this a lifestyle change this time. He bought me a 3 year membership to Gold's gym for Christmas and I have been doing some sort of exercise almost every day, whether it is doing my own, working out with a friend, or taking a fitness class.
I am also counting calories and following a reasonable diet program that I can make a lifestyle change. This is my LTW!
