Got it pretty cheap at Amazon.

Seriously, nearly something tasty sounding on every page. Fairly straight forward recipes from a little browsing thus far.

LOL, the trade winds have been howling at 25mph with gusts to 35mph, so no beaching it for now. Sand blowing at that speed results in that full body exfoliation thing...ouch!

WOWSERS!!

Got the Taste of Home Comfort Food (diet) Cookbook from amazon.com in the mail and every page I turn to has yet another great sounding recipe!

Times are tight and have to save up for the ESBM cookbook....even on amazon, it was a little steep for an "I wanna" item. The quarter, nickle & dime saver stash is now labeled "ESBM." Gotta stay on budget and be thrifty!

I like to go to www.recipezaar.com/
Mind you, the recipes are not always low anything, but I've been able to get great ideas and switch out the high calorie/fat items for more healthy ones.

Even have a few of my own personal recipes posted there!!

I recently got the "TasteOfHome Comfort Food Diet Cookbook" The book is really pretty with lots of glossy color pictures, and the chapters are broken down by calorie range - very helpful. I've made three recipes so far and all were good. Last night I made the Chicken Marsala and it was a hit with both me and my man... and just 247 calories meant room for a small serving of linguine without blowing my dinner calorie budget

I like the monthly 5 ingredient recipe from Womens Health mag. Fitness mag usually has some great recipes.
I also sometimes cook from the south beach diet book (there is a great vegetarian chili i keep making)

Ugh, thanks for the heads up. I skimmed the recipes quickly but yeah, I have never cooked with artificial sweeteners and don't plan on it.

I did look into Hungry Girl a while back. From what I remember, they suggest a lot things with artificial sweeteners & "low fat" packaged products... Was a no-go for me.

Has anyone ever tried recipes from the Healthy Girl website or books? I've always been curious but for some reason never got around to it.

and lost it again in 2013... going down to 175 this fall, and staying there...this time!

The hubby and I are using a "eat clean" cook book. Forget who the author is..but so far it's been pretty good. It's very straight forwards and easy to follow. None of the recipes are too hard...only thing is trying to find some of the ingredients..like whole grain orzo and whole grain type stuff.

What other websites or cookbooks are you using?

I haven't tried any SP recipes yet, but I really want to try a frozen banana "ice cream" one that keeps popping up! I will try to find the link.

I also love www.prevention.com for healthy recipes.
