I think 6 gram of fiber in your cereal is great. I shoot for 25 grams a day. Just remember to start slowly, too mush at once can be bad. But keep trying to log your food everyday. I know I need to be better at that. I have been tracking for so long I just do mental checks. My most important things are getting enough protein and then fiber!

I buy Fiber One cereal bars, though there are several brands available now, and keep them on hand for a mid-morning or afternoon snack. I also buy breads and tortillas that have at least 5 grams of fiber per serving - you have to read the labels, but they're out there. I also cook with beans, and several fruits & vegetables add to the fiber count.

I have been eating whole grains my whole life and I eat lots of fruits,veggies, and beans; I still have a hard time getting enough fiber. I reccomend Fiber One Cereal or All Brand Buds cereal. Both have about 14 grams of fiber per serving and the servings are small so they are low in calories. If you are eating yougurt already, try adding one of these on top.
Because I eat quite a bit of fiber through out the day, I save the fiber rich cereals for dessert if needed (I sweeten them with Splend with fiber).

I use PGX plus I really prefer whole cereal breads, now that I have been eating them for years. You can look PGX up on line and decide if it is for you. I take one a half hour before eating.

I have been having a hard time getting my daily goal of fiber. Today I started by having activia, never thought that could be a good breakfast! Besides whole grains, does anyone have any other good ideas for fiber?
