It was a very windy, and ended up being also very wet at Cedar Point yesterday. Most of the rides were down (Dragster, Magnum, Gemini, Raptor, Iron Dragon (it apparently valleyed), Maverick) a good portion of the day. We did get rides on Cedar Creek Mine Ride, Mean Streak (No Trims - and other than the little razors sting in the eyes and face from the rain - probably the best rides we ever had on that coaster), Wicked Twister, Mantis, and Millennium Force. They were painful, they were cold, but now they are done until May!

Hope everyone out there had a great closing day also at your respective parks (if they close for the winter season).

My favorite memory so far is taking my two granddaughters to Coastermania this summer and the younger one (9 years old) getting to go on Top Thrill Dragster five times in a row. She loved it!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't remember anyone limping but I could've been in line right next to you. We rode all the big rides on Sunday except Maverick, the line was always longer than we wanted to wait. We got every thing else in though, Dragster, Millennium Force, Magnum x 3, Blue Streak x 2, Raptor, Wicked Twister, Gemini, heck even Disaster Transport.

I was at Cedar Point this past Friday, Saturday & Sunday. I was the girl that was limping around the park since the "screamster" with the trashcan on wheels ran over my foot Friday night. I still managed to have fun & cover the park several times & lose two pounds.

We made it to Cedar Point yesterday - the temperature varied greatly yet all the rides were working. Maybe they should consider keeping it open through Thanksgiving? ;-)

Bummed - according to the current weather forecast this upcoming weekend is supposed to be cold! Hopefully it will be warmer then predicted but everyone will stay away because of the forecast ;-)

My daughter and I each need about 4 miles of coaster track to tie last year - my son is 20 miles ahead of what he did last year so he has no worries other than the 7 months of no CP!

I can't believe there is only one weekend left for Cedar Point for 2011 season - time flies by so quickly and soon we will be waiting out a nearly 7 month break in enjoying our favorite local coasters.
