Last Wednesday, I joined the Jumpstart your fitness challenge.
To make along story short, I was counting down the minutes for my cardio last week, and ST. tonight, I had scheduled a cardio session and ST. I did my ST thru the workout generator. I finally got a smaller weight for my left arm due to herbs palsy when i was born. (it functions well now and has since after I was born and put thru phys therapy, but i have a hard time doing palm up and moving it as normally as my right arm therefore making it hard to build up muscle.)
Anyways, after my ST I did my cardio kickboxing video. I LOVE this video. I just found myself trying to make an excuse for myself to not get thru it or to just count down the minutes and feel miserable. Tonight, i just didnt feel like doing it, and even considerd not doing it. but i told myself this is a CHALLENGE. thats exactly what it is, so i WILL CHALLENGE myself to do this workout. I got thru both workouts and felt SOOOO great, that I even RE DID THE KICKBOXING VIDEO!!! thats right, I did a whole 20 minutes of cardio and ENJOYED IT!!!
I have been praying that I will overcome this stink feeling i have been having about working out and losing weight. I have completely cut out soda and all i drink now is a diet citrus green tea and the rest is water. some pure clear water, sometimes mixed with crystal light. and i find myself enjoying this. I am in LOVE at how well my hard work is starting to pay off finally. I even saw a 3lb drop on the scale this past week. I usually do a weekly weigh in ONLY on Sundays and I dont touch the scale until it is Sunday morning when I wake up.
I just thought I would share this with everyone. Hopefully my wisdom teeth deal doesnt get in the way too much next week. if it does, I will just double up and make it worth it. I will for sure be doubling up before I go to my moms for the week.
