We go to Grand Cayman every year as we own a timeshare there and we are divers. If you are a confident diver, there is great shore diving and there are several dive shops within walking distance of the port.

Also, the Kittiwake is a great wreck dive that you should be able to get on right off 7 Mile Beach. I think we used DiveTech. Google info about diving on Grand Caymen, Kittiwake, shore diving . You can take a taxi for a quick ride the Sunset House where you can do great shore dives. Eden Rock is about one block from the port terminal also for nice shore diving. Don Foster's is close.

Don't miss diving on Grand Cayman. It is great there.

I haven't done any cruises in that area, but, I do know that if you check online for dive shops in the ports you are going to, email them with when you will be in port, they will let you know if they have a "cruise ship" pickup for divers. I have heard from others about that, and so far have not heard of anyone being disappointed. You don't always have to do your excursions through the cruise lines. Usually, I find that if you book on your own, you get a good deal (usually cheaper than through the cruise lines and more fun excursion!).

I am a person of infinite possibilities and dreams.

Forgive your enemies. It messes up their heads.

Here is my predicament. We are taking a cruise in October that stops in Key West, Grand Cayman, and Montego Bay, Jamaica. The one diving excursion offered is in Grand Cayman, but the reviews are mediocre for it. My husband booked this cruise because we want to go diving in warm water, so we are a little disappointed that not more is offered. So I was wondering if anybody has suggestion for good dive companies that we can trust to not have to worry about getting back to the ship with plenty of time to spare. We want to be able to explore some wonderful places. We are in port 6-7 hours, so of course we cannot get too far away from the port. Any help would be appreciated.
