Well, you don't need to be jealous any more. I ended up with an inner ear squeeze after the second day and had to go to the island doctor. Three medications later, couldn't dive the rest of the week and now I am home and feel like crap.
I am a person of infinite possibilities and dreams.
I am, I am! I got a new wet suit for Christmas and I'm heading down to Monterey tomorrow to try it out. Last weekend the weather was unseasonable warm (in the 70's) but tomorrow is only expected to be a high of 55 degrees. Looks like I picked the wrong weekend to go diving, ha ha. I checked the beaches webcam this morning and the water is flat and the sky is blue. Time to pack up the truck and head on out!
I have some family commitments so I sadly can't go diving this weekend. I was in Tahoe a couple of weeks ago for some amazing fresh water dives, but probably won't be back in salty water until late October. Our dive group does an annual underwater pumpkin carving dive. Is anyone else from the Monterey area? I can always use a new dive buddy!
On another note, I got a message from my dive shop that my buoyancy and altitude C-cards are at the shop for me to pick up. Yay, 2 more skills under my belt. Next stop.....Stress and Rescue!
Sadly we will not be diving this weekend! But hope to get out the following weekend and we willbe diving all of Labor day weekend in Brockville, Ontario Have fun with your dives! No-vis diving is the norm in training areas, good way to practive navigation skills!

No diving for me-I'm meeting my cowboy halfway for a weekend of fun! PLUS, I haven't gone diving in years, now and most likely, wont I'll be taking in that activity again....want to sell all my fabulous gear
It's Tuesday, I know, but who's going diving this weekend? I'll be hitting my local mud hole and practicing no-vis diving while trying to avoid OW and rescue students Sunday, and a quick NDL dive on Saturday after my weekend class finishes up.
Who knows, I might get to be a dummy and help to torture the rescue students.
