Princess, how long have you been diving? You seem to have done quite a bit of it. Interested in hearing of some of your dive experiences and how you came to be living in Indonesia! Sounds exciting!

2 of us are from montreal.
If your in Toronto, drive up to kingston, there are numerous dive sites between toronto and brockville.
The girls on this site are awesome, and me being the only regular guy have started calling themselves my Harem, all in fun. Chech out the accountability and challenge sites.
Congrats on your weight loss that is awesome. I am sure the girls will draw a lot from youe experience

I have a Diva BCD as well - I hate chest straps so love this design much better - it stretches of the girls so much nicer and I love integrated weights over a weight belt. I also got an Apeks regulator good for dirty water or ice diving. A Suunto computer. My computer is not intregrated. I prefer to use the mechanical dials for back up. Love having the computer on my wrist to check for depth and time at a quick glance. I picked Suunto because they will service their products for as long as you own them.

Someone tried to sell me a 2nd hand computer that was no longer made (another brand) and I found out that you couldn't buy service for it as the company did not service products so many years after they went out of production. Suunto promises to service anything they make as long as you are still using them.

Of course a Bare wetsuit which I take just in case the water is ever cold enough - so far I've only had to put it on for 1 trip. Love that warm water.

Tracy has a diva bc by aqualung. She loves it because it is made to fit a woman. I have a sherwood outback. They are both rear inflation with integrated weights. Personally...I prefer a weight belt to the weight integrated. I dive cold water and carry over 30 lbs of lead. We both have uwatec computers. Tracy's is integrated, which I wish I had. I had bought my regulator and console long long ago. I also still keep my laminated dive tables in the pocket of my bc for backup. Because we dive cold water and in freezing temps we both have the sherwood blizzard regulators. For cold weather diving it is the best around for not freezing up. We both love out Tusa split fins. Of course you just have to investigate your gear and find out what works for you.

Congrats on getting the great deal on the wetsuit!!
My bcd is a Mares-Kaila and I love it. It has integrated weights, too. I don't like weight belts either. Who needs the hassle?? My regulator is Auqua Lung- Legend, also good. And I have a really basic dive computer. It is by Oceanic (VEO 100). Mine works ok, but my husband has had nothing but problems with his, so I would not recommend it. Besides, it is really too basic. I want one that tells me when to pee!

That is too bad about your son Cdn! But the poor kid! How big a piece did he swallow?

That is very interesting on the computer. My bf also said he prefers his which hooks up and that he would not by a wrist computer. I just thought it was more practical having one on your arm.( I think I also like the look of it) But I know there is more a hookup will do for you. Something to think about. I know I want to get one before my vacation in July.

AHHH been running around all morning. My son lost his cell phone then he swallowed part of his braces.
everyone was more worried about his teeth moving than the swallowed piece. They all say it should pass, so we are on poop watch
Ok My computer is hooked, not wrist, I don't like wrist ones. this one is integrated so it shows your air, ail left, air consumption, and when to start heading back. it shows your nitrogen levels, time time spent time left based on your air consumption. it gives water temp. it gives you your assent rate and no fly time. It does everything you need to know as a diver. you can even set it for the depth you want to go and an alarm will ring if you pass it.
it goes for about 875.00
I bought it as a beginner and if I had to replace my computer i would buy the same one. it's really good. you can buy the computer program and down load your dives. I think it stores the last 30 dive.

Hey Cherry, I have a Sherwood reg and a Zeagle Stiletto BC in integrated weight system. I do not like to wear a weight belt, find them very uncomfortable. So far so good!

Cdn, it your computer one that you wear on your wrist! That is the last piece of equipment I need. Do you think yours would be too much computer for a beginner? I don't think I will be doing Nitrox but like the idea of the hugh read outs! Let me know and is it very expensive?

My Favorite is my computer Oceanic Por plus 2 Air, Nitrox integrated. It basically tells me when to pee. fantastic Computer with visual and numerical read out's and being pratically blind it has hugh read outs, water temp everything I just love it.
I am saving for Doubles and a Dry suit.
