Michelaer-

Happy to report that your advice worked!

I had to wear a hood- which automatically made me adjust the mask downward a bit to make sure it didn't overlap- and NO leaking!! Yea!!
Thanks a bunch!

I don't know if this will help, but I actually had to buy a child/teen mask to fit my face. Haven't had a problem since. Good luck!

That is where I was getting water coming in too. Try to get the mask to sit lower under your nose over your lip, so that it does not push up on your nostril. Also try not to move your face alot. If you move you face as is to smile water may leak in from there too. I know I was having alot of problems and then I just rearranged it on my face and I was fine.

Hi.
Yes. I tried all the ones at my local dive shop and everyone was helpful- I found one that was ok, but not great. Still just can't find one that doesn't dribble in water from the lower cheek area.
I thought it may also be that I have been doing a lot of skills- so you are "standing" or "sitting" a lot instead of being in a swimming position, so I was thinking that the air bubbles from my regulator may be "pushing" it up a bit. But this didn't seem to be a problem for anyone else.

I saw that Meres had the new "liquidskin" masks with softer silicone. I wonder if that may be worth a try?

Did you consult with someone at the dive shop? I am sure they can make some suggestions. Could also be that you are not putting it on properly. I made that mistake when I was first certified and always used to get water going in.

I am starting to feel like a mutant. I can't find a single mask that fits my face well.
My dive buddy can wear pretty much any mask- nice and snug.
Me- they all seem to leak somewhere.

Anybody else "facially" challenged with masks?? Have you found any that work for you?
