So, I did weigh in on Tuesday a.m. up 0.4 which I will take as a success since I'm still not getting in enough exercise.

Spiegy - know that feeling way too well...seems like no matter what you do you just can't lose any weight. Don't get too discouraged yet though...it often takes weeks before you see any progress.

Forgot to weigh in this a.m. So I'll try to remember to face the music and the the scale tomorrow.

181. UP one pound. It's official -- I"m a middle aged woman. Seriously, I was afraid this was happening as although my stomach feels less bloated, I just don't "feel" like I'm losing weight, you know? I'm trying to decide whether I should try upping my daily calories to around 1300-1400 or to stick with around 1200 and see what happens.

Ooohh, I didn't even weigh myself this week, I'm too afraid of the scale. But I'm going to start again either Friday or Monday, I haven't decided which would be the kindest day of the week. Will keep you posted! I'm on a 60 day countdown to vacation and the scale WILL move!

So, do I get to be the first one to post my current weight. Its, are you still going to keep us accountable?

My current weight is 177.2. Not as bad as I thought, but not nearly as good as I would like either. I've gained almost all the weight back that I lost before. And, I'm still moaning and groaning about having to exercise. Having some serious wrestling matches with myself. UGH!

UGH!!! Do I have to??? The scale has gone weigh (hahaha) up for this Sparker. Not sure I'm ready to face the music. But, yes, I will be accountable...maybe it will actually motivate me, right?

Weekly weigh-in was 173.4....a loss which is surprising since there was little exercise and nutrition was awful.

So finally posting my weekly weigh-in. Rather depressing to find out I'd gained 1.6 lbs...hoping that is muscle because I was good nutrition wise. Have to see how next week goes.

Kerrie - that's so terrific. I think the true key for all of us to stay motivated is to keep a positive attitude. Even when we indulge or don't get our exercise in (or even if it's a bad week on the scale). Remembering it's just one day, one moment, or one stupid scale that needs to be tossed out the window (oops....I digress), we need to let it go and refocus on the whole goal not the current slice we're dealing with. So, Kerrie, congratulations on staying positive as well as on the weight you've lost so far. :)

I need to invest in a scale that shows the tenths. I have lost 6 pounds in 2 weeks!! YEAH

I have 24 to go by the wedding-but more importantly I actually FEEL like I can do it this time and that's a big change for me. I have even had the small treats now and then and instead of beating myself up about it I ENJOY the treat and move on!! Can you say healthier attitude?????

Thanks for being the best support team ever!

Ok so the official end of week number is:

187-which is down 2 pounds from last week

I'll take it. Gotta get my fanny in gear with the nutrition, did great with my exercise. I have 12 weeks until the wedding and would like to lose 27 pounds = 2.25 pounds a week. I CAN do this!!

WooHoo Kerrie! I used to weigh every day too...but always went by my official weigh-in day since you can fluctuate day by day.

Didn't weigh in this a.m. I forgot and had already eaten breakfast by the time I remembered.

Way to go Kerrie on the 187! It's been so easy for me to avoid the scale since it's in the other bathroom...Guess I'll have to muster the courage and put myself on it tomorrow. Can't let you feel like you are the only one making an effort!

I swore I'd never do it. I would NEVER see 200 again.

I did it. 206.8 at the gym this morning, fully clothed, after breakfast. 204.6 on my scale at home in my birthday suit.

So anyway you look at it, I'm there.

UGH.

The scale's up, the scale's down. The scale's up, the scale's down. The scale is up...gained 1.2 back after last weeks drop. Frustrating but understandable with what I ate this week and not as much exercise with having been sick.

Ok, now I can get a woo-hoo. I'm officially down to 165, so I think I managed to get a lot of water weight off this last week & a half, and now it's going to be the really hard part.

Weighed in to see the scale still sticking around the same weight. Had a .2 gain last week to take me up to 161.8...this week no gain or loss...still 161.8
Did really well with things earlier in the week, then the nutrition went downhill Wednesday and Thursday.

WTG Jules!

My weigh-in this morning found me exactly at the same weight as last week 161.6 lbs. That's a win considering my calorie consumption has been over-the-top. But, I do need to start being consistent in both my exercise and my nutrition. Let's see if I can make it a more positive outcome next Friday!

Kellianne, i think that sounds like a good plan!

I'm actually down 1.8 this week, to 182 even. FINALLY the scale is going the right way!

Weighed in today... emoticon

Up to 161.4 lbs from 159.8 lbs. Most of that I think was related to very bad eating habits this weekend and not enough exercise.

When I weigh in on Mondays, I feel like I'm done for the week and then tend to slack off on everything. I'm going to change my weigh-in day to Friday. I think I will feel more capable of staying focused during the week and know it will help motivate me for my workouts each day. And since weekends are already pose a problem for me to stay focused on my nutrition, I think I'm hurting myself even more.

Hee hee!! I hope it will be.

Honestly, I think it's been a combination of stress (which I have been working on diminishing) and hormones (age-related, mostly... what can ya do?) that have had things going weird. Anyway, I'm going to keep on going because the alternatives are no alternatives at all!

And thanks for the Goodie! I'll see about doing some ab work tonight while watching the Olympics!!

I don't think so, Kellianne - my pants were fitting tighter too, and I don't think I'm building muscle around my mid-section. emoticon

However, my hubby did tell me yesterday morning after patting my fanny that it's shaping up again. emoticon

Kellianne - Congrats! That's fabulous!!

Wendy - good idea adding the non-scale measurements for the rewards. I hope you can get your BodyBugg to work!

Well, I totally didn't like the friday weight (as in freaked out!), and I'm claiming it as at least partly caused by the sodium in my chili I'd been eating that week, so I stayed away from the chili on Friday and stepped on the scale again Saturday. Still not good, but better than it was.

SO, it went as follows:

As usual, it comes off in fractions, and goes back on in multiples. emoticon

Oh well, this is another week...

YAY Kelliane!!!! WoooHooo!!!

I'm down .8 which is fine, better than a gain! at this rate I'll be back in goal range around the time I go on my cruise. I wanted to be AT goal weight then, but I'll take it.

I've decided to choose some non-scale measurements to go by, since the scale is really not reflecting the hard work I'm doing. So instead of waiting for the scale to catch up, I'm counting "check marks" on the "other goals" section. When i get to 100, I get my black UGG boots. Otherwise, I won't get them before spring/summer!

Weigh-in was yesterday and I was in denial. Didn't want to accept the fact that the scale was up to 162.2 from 160.4 last week. Hoping it's just a case of building muscle because I did more strength training than usual last week. My nutrition was not that great, but it was mostly within my calorie zone. I was really hoping to see the other side of 160 this week....maybe in a couple weeks. Focus, Kelli, focus!

Ok I finally made it over here.... sometimes it takes me a while to get things done..LOL
My weigh in is on Mondays now. I moved it there hoping it will help me be good on the weekends. I know I have not lost anything this week. With no exercise ugh. I will post it on Monday. I did read down through the posts. Jules, do you still want a seperate catagory for this? Can I make you a leader too so you can set this stuff up as well?

The scale is rising again, as I regained the 1.2 pounds I lost on Tuesday. My food is perfect, I'm working out, and "traffic is moving" quite nicely. So I'm at a loss as to the cause of the gain. I spoke to my trainer about it today and she has no idea either. So when I see her Tuesday she will hook me up to the "Body Bug" and we'll see what's really going on.

Congrats Jules! I'm glad one of us is losing, albeit slowly.

I'll take it, since my food wasn't the greatest this week, and it's still a loss.

Wendy, don't worry about it - some sort of fluke, maybe because of starting back to the gym. Or you need a good trip to the bathroom, LOL!!

Kellianne - stay on top of it and next week will be your week!! Let this be a bit of incentive to kick your exercise up yet another notch (I know you've been starting to increase it...)

I somehow managed to GAIN 3.2 pounds. Has to be muscle and/or water, as my food has been perfect. Anyway, today I'm down 1.2 from there, so that's something.

Weigh-in this morning saw the scale standing steady at 160.4 lbs. No loss, but thankfully no gain either. I know part of it was I was over on my calories a couple of days this week. New week...new opportunities to workout and stay on track. So, here I go!

Ok, so I'm not thrilled, but also not terribly surprised. At least it is a loss though. TOM is starting, and my pants aren't feeling really any looser, though I swear my SKIN feels looser. So, I'll keep trucking, and hopefully will see the benefit next week!
