Yes, taking the Catalyst before bed is what my advisor recommended - I think that I read that it was good for you during extended periods of rest.

I chose the Vanilla Shakes - although with a certain visitor looming, I wish that I had chosen chocolate! I had already placed an order for more Catalyst and Spark for when the Challenge ends and I also added the Double Chocolate Snack Bars (my advisor said that they taste good and that you can have them during the Challenge) - they should arrive tomorrow, I am SO excited! I used to be a Starbucks junky - surprisingly, not the bad stuff - just a cup of black coffee in the AM and a black Iced Tea unsweetened in the afternoon - I think that I prefer the Spark now, for the mental focus that I get from it - I am a SAHM with my own business - so it is easy for me to get distracted, I feel that I can get back on track better now.

I've heard of someone else taking the Catalyst before bed. Is that what your advisor recommends? It weakens me when I take it before working out, so the morning dose works best. Maybe bedtime would be a good option too.

I chose the MNS-3 as well - looking forward to CHOCOLATE for breakfast with the shakes. 10 days without any chocolate taste = killing me. I see Spark Energy and Catalyst as good products to continue using after this is done.

Congrats on Day 10! I have a total of 20 to lose - so, 13 to go in order to be svelte. :) Sweet is not my problem - salty is - chips! Ugh. I've noticed that drinking water helps a TON - I have been drinking 150-175oz a day. I am not sure about inches lost - when my advisor took my measurements, I didn't even want to look at them :)

I appreciate the self control as well - and I really do appreciate that I've learned to love a good, HEALTHY salad for lunch - and by healthy, I mean one that has isn't covered in a bad dressing choice or bacon or croutons - but instead some hard boiled egg, fruit and veggies along with some sugar free balsamic dressing! AND, my whole family has started eating better!

I do use Catalyst! I take three in the AM and then three before bed - I do feel it working. Once the challenge is over, I will just take three before bed - my advisor said that it was good to take during rapid weightloss though.

Which MNS pack did you choose? I am using MNS 3 - I think that it is perfect for me - I don't feel hungry, my energy levels are still good and my mood overall is good. I did sign up to be a distributor because I want to continue to use the products once the Challenge is over.

I'm on Day 10! I didn't have a ton to lose and my eating habits were closely in line with the AdvoCare plan; however, I've only lost 3 as of yesterday and 1.5 inches. Nothing as significant as I had hoped but I feel really good (and my skin has been looking great!). I'm looking forward to the next 14 day stretch and continuing to feel like I have more self-control to stay in the 1400-1500 calorie range.

While we all obviously shoot for the weight loss piece, I think that I'm going to focus on appreciating the self-control I've learned and the awareness of including more fresh fruits and veggies throughout the day. I fee great with my realization that I CAN hold back from eating sweets when I put my mind to it! Congrats on your 7 pound loss! Have you tried the Catalyst product? My mom had half of a bottle left that she didn't want so I've been taking approx 3 a day. It makes me feel a little more sucked in - Haha I don't know how else to explain it!

Thank you both!

My first ten days went great! I lost 7 pounds and my energy was amazing! I felt wonderful. I cheated on the 10th day because of a family celebration and it took me three days to come back from that, I wish that I wouldn't have cheated that bad! (Both eating and drinking). The energy alone that I have gained from doing this has been worth it, I felt like a slug before, so I am appreciative of doing this.

I haven't lost too much on this second part but I am still trying - although feeling a little defeated. I haven't had any potatoes, last night I made brown rice with our dinner, gave myself a quarter cup but didn't even finish that. I can't understand why I am not losing.

How are you doing Carly? What day are you on now?

You continue on your 14 days. If you have more weight to lose then keep up the 14 days. If you don't then eat what you want. My mentor has met his goal so now he follows the 14 days on 6 out of 7 days and eats what he wants one day a week. I hope this helps.

I'm near the end of the first 10 days as well! It looks like the difference moving into the last 14 days is that you add the meal replacement shake for breakfast and it's more acceptable to consume more grains/rice/tempeh/etc.

How did your first 10 days go? I'm feeling really good - clearer skin, more energy, and WAY easier to consume around 1300-1500 calories each day without feeling hungry; however, I haven't lost much (haven't weighed in 2 days but maybe only 2 pounds). I'd love to hear your experience as I've been a little disappointed.

Hi!

I am just finishing the Cleanse part of the 24 Day Challenge and while looking at the suggestions of what to eat during the Cleanse and the next Phase, I don't really see much of a difference in what to eat - am I missing something? Am I supposed to eat less fruit? I think that I am just sort of confused overall!

Any help would be appreciated!!
