Yes -- our children aren't as active as we were. This could be that both parents work and the children have to go to other caregivers (private sitters or daycares). This doesn't allow for the kids to stay outside all day long like we did. They do more electronic toys/games, depending on who cares for them during the day. It's something to keep them occupied and out of the way. I limit the electronics at home and as a rule don't give any electronic games to my neices/nephews/godchildren. I encourage activity.
Yea I mean there where kids who where overweight I was concidered "chubby" but obese.. standards I do not think.. but I do know we did not have all that junk food in our house my parents did not buy it because we could not afford it.. ice cream was only for special treats.. and too as a kid I know I was much much more active then kids today.. who sit and play games and such..
