emoticon Good Morning Everyone! Hope all is well!

emoticon So tired this morning. I slept right through my alarm clock then my body woke me up like 10 minutes late so that wasn't bad! Took Jay to exchange his winter coat sine the other one the zipper broke less than a month. Sears is so great about stuff like that. But they didn't have his coat in his size so he had to pick a new one. I like the new one better and he wasn't happy because he wanted some orange in it (that is his favorite color, blue and orange, like Detroit Tigers), but once I explained how much better his batman winter hat and gloves match he was happy. Silly goof!!! Kids have half day today and I have to go to conferences this afternoon then I have class. Tomorrow they have 1/2 day again and no school Friday. Next week they only have school Monday and Tuesday.

emoticon Down 1.2lbs this week. Which is only 29% of the pounds I have gained over the last 2 weeks, but its a start! Unfortunately I am not going to meet my weight loss goals so I am going to have to make a new reachable goal or revise my other goals accordingly! Try to do that over the next week. Add a Christmas or New Years goal. To meet my Thanksgiving goal I need to lose 6.6lbs by 11/27 (next week), fall 5% goal, I need to lose 9.42lbs by 12/7 (2 weeks), and BLC 23 goal I need to lose 15.6lbs by 12/18 (4 weeks). Yep that is not going to happen so I am not even going to get myself all upset about it.

Guess I will do it now...Goal Revisions:
Lose 1lb for my Thanksgiving goal for next week
Lose 2 more lbs for my Fall 5% that ends in 2 weeks
Lose 4 more lbs for my BLC 23 that ends in 4 weeks
NEW GOAL: I want to start the new year off below 160! So I need to lose 6lbs by Jan 1 (6 weeks)!

HOLY CRAP NEW YEARS IS IN 6 WEEKS! Holidays are coming up way too quick! I am NOT prepared!!!!

emoticon Doing better with eating. I am sure not eating out everyday sure helped me this week. We got pizza on Saturday and I ate good, I didn't eat half as much at one time but I did have a pc on Sunday and Monday too but I have only ate 1pc at a time! Sunday we made cookies which is bad for me! I have been munching on them since, but they are gone now Thank Goodness! I have been bringing oatmeal with me to work and eating a real breakfast and I see that definitely has been helping! I have a nice stock of healthy snacks in my desk, apples, oranges, trail mix, fiber 1 bars...Still needing to improve though!

emoticon I am still trying to improve on my cardio and ST! This is a major downfall because of my schedule, but trying, at least I am trying!

emoticon Last weeks goals
Cardio goal met
ST goal not met
No binging, well even though I didn't set down all at once, I did eat lots of cookies so I am not sure that I will take that goal!
1 Fast food day, we only got it once but I ate it over a couple days so not taking this one either

emoticon Goals for the week
1. Lose 1lb
2. Cardio: add additional 3 days of higher intensity cardio
3. ST: 2 additional days beyond TNT
4. No binges
5. 1 fast food day allowed

emoticon Good Morning, hope everyone had a great day! Spent the afternoon in my room to avoid my jerkoff DH and unruly children. Yep not a great day to say the least. He did take them to his moms for a bit while he changed my oil and decided to rotate my tires. Not sure if that was a good idea though. They are really bald in the middle and inside of the tire which could mean alignment issue plus there is a screw jammed into the thread of one of them. Yay just what I needed to hear. There's nothing I can do, I have to drive it! And we do not have the money to get new ones. This is ridiculous! He needs to find out from his dad if we can just use a portion of that 20k he was giving us for the house to get these cars up and running. They need to get these cars in like NOW! That is not my place to ask him and he needs to pull a little more weight around here. I can't do it all by myself, and if I have to then why the hell am I even here! He does lil things and is doing more than before but I am sorry sometimes its not enough, some things he needs to be responsible for! But that was only part of the problems yesterday. Kids didn't want to listen, kept fighting and did not want to clean up their room, basically he just went behind me and was like lets go to gramma's and told me I don't care whats in the middle of the room. Well I am done, if he can't back me up then I guess I won't even bother. Their room can be nasty and he can deal with it! I have had it. I get that he wanted to get them out of the house for a minute to run off energy, which is fine, they need more room, but don't undermine my authority in front of them! That's why they don't listen to me! I had no problem letting them go and finish when they got home but then as I was picking them out some clothes I found all kids of crap crammed by their dresser and right up against the electrical outlet...can we say FIRE HAZARD. That's when I told them they needed to stay home and clean this room up right. Then it all fell apart from their.

Anyways, enough of the rant, I did get some things done outside, put filters away, but couldn't put the tarp over it. It was too small so need to pick up another one. But that's it for the outside until next weekend when I put up the Christmas décor. Well have a great day. Going to be wet one here so getting stuff done inside today. emoticon

emoticon Good Morning! I want to start off by saying emoticon Jesus! Not only I am up to see another day (even though I really could have used couple more hours of sleep) BUT I finally got the CALL! I have been approved for $191k mortgage! WE CAN FINALLY GET WITH OUR REALTOR!!! We don't want to just jump into anything or get anything that expensive but WE ARE ONE STEP CLOSER! I GET TO HOUSE HUNT! But now that one prayer has been answered, of course both cars need a lot of work! I need new tires and whatever else is wrong with that. Jason car is starting to grind, sounds like something up with the brakes or rotors. Don't even want to think car payment now that we are house hunting, so fixing the cars is what we have to do, just need some extra money. emoticon . Then Jason leaves me a know that there was coolant under my truck last night. He thinks its just from him filling it, he thought he overfilled it. So I have to watch that. Now exactly what I wanted to wake up too..his lil note emoticon . Evil dude professor gave us an extra week on the assignment. Down to the wire, going to knock out these last assignments so I can study my brains out for finals. Did get my exam back last night in the evil class. I DID do better than the first. My goal was at least a 70% on this one (yes I set the bar low this time!) and I ended up with a 75% on the exam. So far I have an 80% in that class and 88% in the Wednesday class. I don't have enough points left in my T/TH to get an A but I am fine with the B! Going to be warm tomorrow and hoping Jason doesn't have to work so he can do the oil change on truck, he got his last weekend. Plus I need to finish cleaning up the back yard. Too bad I didn't have the rest of my Christmas stuff I would put that up outside while its warm too. Sunday supposed to rain emoticon . Great, now Jay just woke up to tell me he peed the bed. I really don't need a repeat of yesterday morning! Wow, here we go...TGIF and I don't have to work. Just Pow Wow then home to spend extra time with the hubby. Have a Fabulous Friday! emoticon

emoticon Good Morning Friends.

emoticon Very tired today. I even went to bed an hour earlier last night (10p). Got a few things done last night. I think I just have 1 more assignment (the last project) in my evil T/TH class then the final exam left. I have a few more assignments for my Wednesday class. Going to try to knock out a couple of those, well the ones that are given so far plus knock out the project and then I want to start a study guide things especially for my T/TH class so I can Ace the finals! I would like to "go out with a bang" LOL. Other than that just my normal busy chaos. I am so not organized at home. Things are getting done last minute, some things I don't care to put off but some things like paper shuffling type of things, well it just stresses me out when I don't get certain things done in a more timely manner. Kinda like a work ethic thing I guess. I don't know what I am trying to say, I am way overtired! emoticon LOL

emoticon Evil scale was up again this week. Up 1.8 lbs. So I am getting closer to my evil starting/birthing weight from 5 years ago. I tell you I am definitely consistent with tipping the scale UGH! Anyways, I have just come to the conclusion, life constantly on the go is not good for those trying to loss weight! I would like to say that its just because I am irregular pretty bad this week well last couple weeks and that its because TOM is getting ready to make his presence known but, even though those may contribute, the main factor is ME and MY LIFESTYLE! I have to make the right choices, I need to plan better, I need to fit being healthy into my hectic lifestyle! Actually I know that the last one should really be the other way around but I am too crazy to even figure that out right now!

emoticon So last week I made Jason take the remaining chocolate Halloween candy to work after my WIN. I just knew I wouldn't keep my hands off it! Unfortunately I have had a few binge days this week still. Not candy, but cocoa pebbles, fruity pebbles, some cookies, pudding, Not all those at once, but different days. We ate out quite a few times last week too. I really got to get this in check! I would like to start tracking in SP tracker again. I track on paper but some things I forget and I just would like to see it in my tracker!

emoticon My cardio is still mainly walking, which I got a lot of last week but I know my body is too used to it. I really need to change it up! I definitely have to get on the ball with ST! This is a must, 1 day is not good enough!

emoticon I failed all my weekly goals except the cardio and really I don't feel I met that either because all I did was walk and while I got great minutes I sure didn't get a lot of higher intensity workouts (videos and stuff) like I wanted.

emoticon Goals for the week:
1. Lose 1lb (BLC 3.36/wk, Fall 5% 3.54/wk, Thanksgiving 3.9/week=need to lose per week to meet goal)
2. Cardio - 30+m walking per day PLUS 2 high intensity 15+m workout sessions
3. ST - TNT PLUS 2 sessions
4. No bad food binges!
5. 1 fast food day allowed
6. Track food 1 complete day

emoticon Good Morning my dears! Hope all is well. I am freezing! There's a dusting of snow on some of my stuff outside. There were so many reports last night of accidents and icy conditions, freaked me out since Jason has to drive home in the Mustang at 2am. But he made it home close to his normal time. I hope roads are too bad this morning. I will probably leave early just in case. So I have been up for a while working on some things already, so tired, so much to do, so little time. How often do you hear me say this LOL emoticon . Anyways got one assignment knocked out last night, couple more to go due this Wednesday and next plus an auditing report project for my evil class due Tuesday. Apparently its a continuation of the other 2 projects and last I heard we are not supposed to start because he needed to update the file, well I haven't heard anything or seen any updates to the file that has our directions in it! So now I have a week left?! HELLO I would like to get started! So glad I don't have to deal with him next semester! Anywho, not working Friday, volunteering for Jay's Kindergarten Pow Wow at school. Saturday is grad college open house, debating on if I should go or wait. Not sure how often they have them and I won't be officially admitted until Fall. I need to really look at their website! Well I hope everyone has a terrific Tuesday!

emoticon Good morning my dear friends. I have taken myself off the grid for a few days. I really needed it but I sure missed everyone! Hope you are all well. This weekend we laid low. We did a little shopping instead of going to the movies. We started out Christmas shopping for the kids. Only got 3 small things but hey we have started! Sometimes I would start in September! I would order things off Amazon while I am ordering my books for class. I really don't have their wishlists even started yet, I really need to get on it! Well this is rather short today. We got some more things done around the house yesterday. Did part of my grocery shopping yesterday and plan to finish that up tonight then I have to get on this weeks homework along with figuring out this stack of papers on my desk! Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! Have a Marvelous Monday! emoticon

emoticon Good Morning Everyone. Hope all is well in SparkLand, here not so much!

emoticon Busy studying after class last night. I am not sure how I will do on the exams. I feel so frazzled and unorganized! Driving me insane! Have to leave for school early tonight, need to get a new program of study filled out because that class is the same time as the other class so now I have to take the MW class so I will be going 4 days per week 5-6:15 each night. After I get my permission I have to go to the advising office to have them enter it so I can register Friday. Then I got a bunch of other BS going on that is ticking me off that I have to get taken care of this week. I swear this stress is never ending! I just can't take it anymore.

emoticon Up a total of 1inch this month, .5 in the waist and .5 in the thigh

emoticon WIN not good at all this week. Up 2.4 lbs, yep I said up. I am furious! Looks like my cupcake binges last week and candy this week has caught up with me. I know its me, I am my own worst enemy. I am not getting enough vigorous exercise in nor am I eating well enough. I have to stop writing everything and actually DO IT! I just have to step up. I have to figure it all out. My time constraints/scheduling is killing me! Literally, its making me very unhealthy!

emoticon I must stay away from the sweets this week. I have to eat like I do in the beginning of the day, ALL DAY. I am fine first part of the day with all my freggies and smart choices but then my afternoons and evenings of chaos come and I just make all the bad choices. ERRRRR!!!!

emoticon I have to start incorporating more cardio and ST sessions. My body, I know, has gotten used to the walking everyday. I have to make some time! I don't know where to pull the time, I can't reduce my sleep anymore than I do already, I can't do it during work, I have to study, that's most important, I have to do it on the weekends and try to aim for 1 or 2 days during the week to do an extra session.

emoticon I need to start taking my vitamins again. Although I am not sure what I should be taking. I took so many before for different things, I need to go through my spreadsheet and figure out what is necessary!

Puritains Pride (CLA) Conjugated Linoleic Acid with Tonalin [1000 mg]
Equate (multivitamin) One Daily multi-vitamin
Natures Bounty (EPO/GLA) Evening Primrose Oil with 9% GLA EPO-]1000mg/GLA-90 mg]

Any thoughts on the vitamins???

emoticon Met only my regular cardio FM goal last week :(

emoticon Goals for the week
**I added a new goal to my short term goals. I want to be below 160 by Thanksgiving. So I need to lose at least 6lbs in 3 week**
1. Lose 1 lb (BLC 2.5lbs, Fall 5% 2.21lbs, Thanksgiving 2 lbs...per week)
2. Cardio: 30+m 6 days a week plus 3 additional 15+m vigorous cardio
3. ST: TNT plus 3 addition sessions
4. No more than 1 pc of candy per day (fun size only)
5. No late night binges 7/7 days
6. Allowed 1 fast food day this week

emoticon I will catch up on the threads soon as I can! emoticon

emoticon Good Morning! Tried hard to study last night. Was all over the place. I swear my Tues/Thurs teacher is nuts, he gives us so much material that will be on our test but hardly goes over the majority of it during the weeks before and I am frazzled. Trying to look at everything with a sinus MIGRAINE last night didn't help. Oh it went from that dull headache to a major migraine with nausea and all. Just what I need in time for exams emoticon . So after class tonight home to study for tomorrows exam which is less than half the material I need to know for the other class. So it should go smoothly if I don't have a huge headache. I just hope he does a good review tonight for Thursday exam!!! Ok theres my rant, hope everyone has a great day! emoticon

emoticon Good Morning. Its Monday, me not ready for Monday emoticon . I had such a wonderful weekend. A Lazy Saturday, a wonderful, productive Sunday with wonderful family time to finish it off. Now back to the real world. I liked my lil bubble, I shall miss it today! We got our Halloween stuff put away, the pool pump going to drain it (I must check that this morning), looked a lil over my exam materials and got an idea where to begin. Jason cooked dinner and helped a lot around the house. He will be finishing off the laundry today. It makes a world of difference when he helps. We even "CLOWNED AROUND" and had a blast last night, before dinner we had the radio going, kids got their baths and came out and started dancing around so momma decided to dance around then dada got up and started goofin off and dancing. It was a lot of fun. Then we curled up on the couch after dinner and watched Funniest Home Videos and the Simpsons. It was just like the lovely family nights me and my mom used to have when I was little. We hardly ever do that! I always hate going back to real life after times like that! But I have to so work, then home to study my brains out for the next 3 nights. Got my hair appointment coming up on Saturday. Going to add some lowlights to soften the blonde for the winter. Then planning to make out family picture appointment for the 17th. Then we got the Lions game on the 24th that Jason and I are going to. Then Jay's kindergarten Pow Wow that I am taking the day off for, conferences, kids have half days 20th and 21's for conference and no school 22, and 27-29 this month. Plus Thanksgiving. This month is going to fly by. Well I hope everyone has a marvelous Monday :))

emoticon Good Morning, oh how I love gaining an hour :) Hope everyone had a great Saturday. I basically laid around all day. Not feeling well. Starting to get Jay's cold that he has had all week :( FUN FUN emoticon What else is new right, I tell ya. And of course every time they get me sick it is always right before an exam and in this case I got 2 this week emoticon I went to bed before ten last night, and am up and ready to go. Still not up to par but I don't have the bad headache yet so I am gonna get what I can done now. Already started the laundry. Got the kids helping, instead of arguing like literally ALL day yesterday, OMG that did NOT help! We have to run to the store for a couple things then home to study. So off I go...Have a blessed Sunday emoticon

emoticon Good Morning. Wow, still so dark out and rainy this morning :( But a great day to get some stuff done in house. The kids and I got home yesterday and decided we just needed to relax and start some of the movies we haven't watched yet this year. So we made a quick bite to eat, watched Hocus Pocus, started watching Addams Family and I started falling asleep (this was around 7 something). Just after 8 I looked and Jay was passed out so me and Evie decided to go to bed and we'd finish the movie the next day. Layed down and found myself falling asleep again so I checked on Evie and she was already asleep so turned her tv off, turned mine off and went to bed before 9pm last night. Got up at a quarter to 8 this morning. Evie got up a few minutes later and Jay just now got up. Definitely needed to catch up on sleep. Jason has to work 3:30 to midnight so me and the kids plan to get some laundry done, pick up a lil bit around the house, maybe take down the décor on the inside. I have a bunch of studying to do and then tonight we will probably resume our movies. I was bad last night and binged on some candy, cheezits and popcorn :( But todays anew...Tomorrow hopefully it won't be raining so I can put away the Halloween décor outside and then empty that dag gone pool! Yes that still hasn't been done emoticon Well time to get my computer stuff done and organize myself, get me a to do list going and get some stuff done! Have a great weekend!

Carol,

Nice to have you on board. I apologize for not being up and participating lately on the team. It just seems this team has been falling through the cracks. Feel free to do whatever you need to do to encourage some participation and getting it back up and running again. If you need anything let me know. I will work on also being more active on the team as well if I see more participation.

Thanks and looking forward to getting to know you and co-leading with you!

emoticon Good Morning. Wow I am exhausted! Yesterday went fine, parties were great, trick or treating was ok. I tell you wind/rain is not easy. I much rather would bundle the kids up and venture out in the cold then do that again. I think if we didn't have the wind it would have been a little easier. So kids got a good amount of candy, the neighborhood gave out lots of full size stuff, lil toys and stuff like that. Great neighborhood and we saw all kinds of kids that they knew. So we definitely might stick with that neighborhood LOL. Halloween really should be the last Friday of October though. This sucks! I know kids are not going to be easy to get up this morning. I will try and post pics again (I tried last night from my phone but it was a pain) later. Lots of studying for my exams next week and need to catch up on much needed sleep! Have a great day! TGIF!!

I think I am down one pound, but I am waiting to log it on Saturday to see if it is really off, or just water loss. It is so hard to tell.

I was up a lb this week. No surprise because I haven't been great with the self-discipline over the 100 cal snacks. I hardly followed week 3 of Shred this week. That was my 3rd or 4th attempt between the 2 cycles I have done and I am moving on. I have also decided I will not incorporate week 3 in future cycles. I get way too many headaches, the shakes and low energy from the hypoglycemia. My goal is to follow week 4 of Shred as accurately as I can and to practice self-discipline with the snacking!

My goal last week for my fitness minutes was 180, I actually got 375. I haven't been doing as my ST as I would like so I really have to focus in on that. My goal this week is 250 minutes. My goal is for a minimum 30 min of cardio and at least a 15 minute ST session 6 days this week.

My last goal for this is to finally begin looking at my GMAT materials. I need to sit down and get all my dates together, get myself organized by making my to-do and shopping lists for start of school. Need to figure out all the costs of books, testing and applying for grad school organized. I know I have a month before school begins but that's really not that far away! I feel so unprepared and unorganized and I LOATHE that feeling!

That's about it, I am feeling crappy today. Allergies have been bad this year. My head, sinuses, ears all hurt :( I tell ya, its always something.

Excited about dinner though, nice chicken breasts stuffed with broccoli and low-fat cheese, scalloped potatoes and green beans. I am so hungry.

Good Morning Sparkies! Hope all is well. I am finally getting to my blog and updating my team threads. Its been a busy week plus I have been sick. Not sure exactly what it is: my allergies, the heat/humidity, TOM, dehydration or a combo thereof but I have been nausaus, lightheaded, sinuses, headaches, dizzy, and it just hasn't been fun at all. Feeling better for the most part. But still feeling it. I have been taking my allergy meds every day. But I don't think I have been drinking enough water the last few days like I normally do. But anywho, life goes on!

So haven't blogged since last week so I will update starting there:

*Wednesday and Thursday last week I just sat around. Thursday afternoon I picked up the kids and hung out at my moms for a lil bit.

*Friday (12th): My lil guy had his allergy appointment. His skin test still shows high results but his blood tests usually are drastically different so the dr wants to do a food challenge if we get the same results so maybe we can desensitize him from his peanut allergy. Keeping my fingers crossed. It would be nice not to have to worry so much!!! Especially now that he is getting older and wants to go hang out at friends houses!

*Saturday: I took the kids to Jays' preschool friends bday party. Siblings are parents got to stay too. It was wonderful, like a preschool reunion! Kids had tons of fun! It was great to sit and chat with all the moms (and dad) that stayed! I was good too, had water to drink, 2 small slices of cheese pizza and NO cupcake!!! NSV for me YAY!!! Afterwards there was a car show with special appearances at one of the dealerships across from the bouncy place with Lightening McQueen and TowMater from Cars. So naturally we had to stop! So we walked around, looked at some old and new cars, took tons of pics, got some cotton candy and headed home.

*Sunday: day of relaxation! Nothing special, went out to do yardwork but discovered although I had the trimmer battery on the charger the charger was not plugged in so was unable to trim the bushes. So we all headed down to my MIL's so my hubby could change the oil in my explorer and the best part was he even cleaned it out and completely detailed the inside! It was so great because my car was a mess! So the kids wanted to stay at Grammas and since didn't have to work she kept them until Tuesday! So DH and I had a nice quiet afternoon together.

*Monday: Nothing special, just relaxed with hubby before he went to work than sat around with Bella. Did finally get to Curves though for my measurements and a workout! DOWN A TOTAL 8.25 inches since May 31. And most of that was lost in my abdmonen and hips! The biggest places I need to lose at!!! I was also down 4.2 lbs and she said almost 2.5lbs of that was body fat! How awesome!!!

*Tuesday: Dh and I had dentist appointments, all looked great and had nice cleaning! Love getting my teeth cleaned. Then went picked up the kids. We made some dinner and watched some movies since too hot and about to storm.

*Wednesday WIN REFLECTION: Weigh in I was down 2.2!!! WOO HOO. I didn't follow week 2 completely but thinking if I had I probably would have been down more! But that's ok! I am HAPPY!!!! I did not meet my FM goal I set for this week. I set a 300 m goal and only got 175. But trying to learn to stop beating myself up and move on. Had some upcoming interviews so decided I needed some new interview/works clothes so we headed to Sears. I got 2 pairs of nice slacks, a pair of capris, a bunch of shirts, 4 pairs of shoes, a cute pj set, and a new 2 pc bathing suit. Its more of a tankini but its cute! I am still in 12/14 and L but some of the shirts were a large out of the petite section!!!! NSV again!!! So then we headed to Aldi's for some grocery shopping and as we were on our way home that's when it all hit me and I started getting sick! Barely made it to the bathroom when we got home!

*Thursday: had an interview and an accounting staffing agency which went pretty well. So we shall see how that pans out. I interviewed with them before about 5 years and no assignments. Too hot to do anything else and was feeling sick so just sat around rest of the day.

*Friday: Had an interview at that architecture place for PT Accountant. Chatted for 2 hours with them. It was great interview and I really like the people, the place and the job duties so def keeping my fingers crossed on this one. They want to make a decision in the next couple weeks!! Wasn't planning on doing anything since it was still hot and bad storms were supposed to be rolling in but the kids were acting up and needed to get some energy out so we went out and I filled up their kiddie pool and mowed the grass. Bella and the kids got the pool filthy so I dumped it, refilled it and decided to have some play time too! A little angry with myself. I overindulged a little with 4 packs of 100 cal snacks. But hey, gotta learn I can't be perfect all the time!!!

Today: Going to my nieces graduation party today. Going to have a lot of food I hear so going to try my hardest to resist too many tempting yummies!

BLC StrongEnd:

Reflect on Previous 6 weeks: I have def gotten better with my eating over the past 6 weeks. I am learning that I can't always be perfect! I have a problem with being a perfectionist! My fitness minutes def needs work. I have to get back to Curves and also do more at home. Not necessarily 2 hours every day but I want at least 30 m 6 days a week! So going to continue to improve on that!

The bad habit I am working on is stop being so negative with myself when I screw up or I am not perfect. I have to just brush it off and move on. Not give up and indulge more. I tested that yesterday and I work up feeling down but pushed some positive thoughts in my head and am looking forward to a better day today. I have a feeling I will be testing myself today as well!

Have a great weekend!

Just sitting down to blog and update my threads. I wanted to sit down and get my new journal made before I updated. I created it to record my journey and make motivational quotes/pictures as scrapbook pages to help push me more. There are some pics in my blog :)

So I ended cycle 1 of Shred with only a 1.82 loss. Which is really disappointing since people usually get at least a 10lb loss for the entire 6 weeks. However I really only followed the plan for 3 weeks perfectly and my fitness minutes were all over the place. We had so much going on too during that time that certainly played a role. Now I have 5 weeks til my 30th birthday which is also my next goal of a 10lb loss which I really would like 20 lbs lost by then. I don't have as much going on between now and then so I really believe I can focus and be more disciplined this time around.

This week I stayed the same which I am happy about. I thought for sure I was going to gain with not being on Shred for 2 weeks and the Holiday weekend but I stayed same so I will take it! Monday I have my appointment for my measurements at Curves. Can't wait to see.

Today I learned that a fellow classmate I have known, although not close too, since elementary school, lost his 13 year battle of Leukemia overnight. I was very saddened. He just celebrated his 30th bday in May. Here I keep complaining that my 30th is coming up and he barely made it to his! Its very sad. I am not ready to start saying goodbye to the people I graduated HS with! My thoughts and prayers are with his family!!!

Update on the raids going on in the neighborhood. There was 3 now confirmed just in my neighborhood of the 22 warrants. My friends knows the people across the street. Apparently the guy that lived there is the soon to be ex brother in law of one of the guys that ran the big warehouses that were growing the pot. They did release the guy across the street after questioning him because they found out they had nothing to do with it. The house is a rent to own and the owner whos a moron anyways, is kicking them out. I feel bad for them. Honestly since finding out they are not involved I really don't want them to move because they are pretty quiet and theres not a lot of traffic even when they party.

Have a great evening :)

So glad to be home. My weekend was ok. Thursday my son right before we were to leave fr the fireworks was in the room with my FIL, tripped and hit under his chin and above his eye on the corner of the dresser. Thought for sure it needed a stitch. He freaked out and didn't want to go to the hospital so since it wasn't bleeding hardly I decided to bandage it up and in the morning it looked so much better! He cried harder because I decided we weren't going to the fireworks but felt so bad because he still wanted to go so we took him. He had a blast! Friday on his bday he picked out a movie and we went to the theater to see Monsters University. Great movie! Then we bbq'd steaks. Saturday we spent the afternoon at my moms. Sunday we got up early to come home. I couldn't wait because the bed we have at my FILs is the WORST!!! We dropped the kids back at my moms until Thursday and then witnessed a crazy dude driving like a moron on the express way hit the median, bounce and spin in front of us, we were able to slow down enough...but still too close! This morning we got up to find the young couple with 2 young daughters under 3 that just bought the house across the street, getting raided. We later saw an article that a big 7 month investigation of Marijuana trafficking led to 22 raids in my county (2 that we know of in my neighborhood, another one around the corner from us) and a few surrounding counties. Exciting :/ So now its just me and the dog listening to the storms. About to pull out some dvds once I am caught up online and be a couch potato. I didn't sleep much at all this weekend. My phone didn't work at all in cow country this weekend either! No data or phone reception at all! That sucked! Going to be putting up the pool this week. Storms today and tomorrow so it looks like Wednesday! Hope everyone had a great weekend!!!

Good Evening everyone! Wow has today been busy and I am still not done. I am finally just sitting down to relax for a second and pay the bills and post my weigh in day blog. This will probably be the last time I post on any of my threads until Monday. I will not have a computer at my FIL's but I have my phone but its hard to post from that. We are heading about an hour away for the next 4 days. We plan to see the Fowlerville Fireworks tomorrow since they are not far from my FIL's then Friday we are planning to meet my mom and stepdad and celebrate their bdays from June and my sons 5th bday. Then Saturday we will be doing something with my FIL. Sunday we will head home. On our way we will be dropping the kids back off at my Moms until Thursday.

*Teddy Bears (Spring 5%)
I will post my FM/measures for tomorrow, tomorrow however I am not sure if I will be able to post Friday. This has been a great round. Although I did not meet my goal this round I feel I came a lot closer to it this time around. I am very happy that I stuck to it this round better than the last few. I am excited about the summer round. I will be on a new cycle of shred and have more free time that I can concentrate on me! This is exciting!!!

*WIN
I was convinced with the small pcs of cake the last couple days , chocolate chip cookie binge last night, and pizza Sunday (leftovers Monday) that I would be up this week but I WAS DOWN A WHOLE POUND!!! It was just the pound I gained last week but hey I will take it! Not sure what it was. Maybe the constant running around 50 million stores but I lost!

*Goals
Well I did not meet my first 2 planned goals since 5/8/2013 but I am moving past that. Although I didn't meet it on the scale I believe I met it a different way: consistency and motivation. I have been off so long and I am getting so much better and I feel I win that way! My next goal is a 10 lb loss (even though I really would like a 20!!!) by August 16 which is my 30th bday!!! Its going to take a lot of discipline but I will do it this time! This is a big year for me!

*Shred
I decided to take this week off Shred also. So I will begin cycle 2 on Wednesday July 10th. Since I had a gain during week 1 during the first cycle I did I am planning to start on week 2. That will only give me 5 weeks so which ever week I lost the most I will repeat during the 6th week.

July 3rd will mark 6 weeks (and 2 days) until my 30th birthday. I really wanted to have another complete cycle of Shred under my belt by then. Seeing how I had to restart week 3, took a week off and now this week I am re-doing week 4, I have made the decision to continue with week 4 this week as planned but instead of starting week 5 I am going to start back with week 1. I really want to lose 20lbs by my birthday however my goal will be 10lbs. I am a slow loser and I do not want to set myself up for failure. I wasn't going to do week 1 in my next cycle but I figured since that was a holiday week I figured it was easier for me to stay on track with week 1 next week. After this week things will be a lot less hectic and we will be able to start a better summer routine so I think cycle 2 I will be able to stay on track easier thus have better results!

Update on my lil guy...my daughter was able to stay with him today. I had to pay $7 for her to stay today and tomorrow but that was fine. I can handle that. He did really well except for the fact that he had an accident and I was called right as I was pulling into Toys R Us to shop for his bday presents so I had to turn around, run back home then run back out there. So lots of running today.

So glad this week is almost over LOL

Good morning everyone! So this time last week I was looking for a part time job. My DH and I have really been talking about it and neither one of us really want me to go back to work at this time. It would just be too much for us all to handle! I have a hard time as it is especially during school months. We are talking to my FIL about adding an addition to this house so hoping for that to get put into gear this summer! A lot of stress going around here this week. My little guy is really having a hard time with his Safety Town classes. He just doesn't want to stay. He cries and really breaks my heart. He has 2 more classes one today and one tomorrow then on Friday is graduation. He is very very shy and the class is in the afternoon and I think he is getting way over tired and not used to it. I asked the director if either myself or my daughter can stay with him since the one volunteer that he did like is now gone. Other wise I am just going to pull him out. I feel bad forcing him to stay. I never had this problem before with him but I know that when he is tired and doesn't want to do something you might as well forget it! Hopefully she will let one of us so he can just finish up this week and be done for the summer. So dealing with this last week and this and then trying to finish up shopping for his bday party this weekend its has been hectic! Not getting much of anything else done! I am exhausted!

WIN Reflection--
I am up 1.0 lb today. I have noticed this week that I have been very bloated and irregular so thinking that may have something to do with it. Not sure what is causing it. Probably a combo of the stress and going to Mcdonalds this weekend lol

NSV--
I was over my FM goal this week. My goal was set at 195 minutes and I got 250! YAY!

BLC habit--
Not doing well at all with the laundry. I set myself up for failure picking that especially to start it with so much chaos going on right now!

Shred--
So today would be the start of week 5 (Cleanse) for me. However after I read it last night I realized I need to go major grocery shopping and I can't go until next Wednesday. So going to re-do week 4 because I have enough of what I need for that! I am pretty sure after seeing recommendations from others shredders that I can get some of what I need at Whole Foods so I don't think I will have to run around for hibiscus tea and 100% pure cranberry juice. Going to sit down and study week 5 again so I don't miss anything!

Have a great day everyone!

Good Morning...wow what a beautiful week this is turning out to be. I wish I was organized up enough to get outside and put that pool up. That is one of my goals for tomorrow and Friday since they are saying storms this weekend! So we got the news yesterday that we were approved for USDA funding to get a bigger home! YAY! The kids can finally get their own room!!! So that means I am on a major hunt now for a part time job. I was lax on it because we thought it was going to take longer than it did. It looks like they filled the position I wanted at my school so I am looking everywhere now. I switched the one class that I have this fall in the morning to evening class so that should help with my day hours.

WIN Reflection:
I was down 2.4 lbs this week WOO HOO!!! I didn't fail like I thought I did!!! Week 3 of the Shred was really hard for me. I needed to eat sometimes instead of just soup or smoothies so I did. I wasn't going to make myself feel hungry so I made the best choices I could! I didn't get my FM in like I wanted to so that is one thing I really want to work on this week. I must get back to Curves today! Haven't been since June 3rd :(. I am also very surprised since I ate like a horse on Sunday lol.

Spring 5%:
We have 2 weeks left in the challenge. I have yet to meet a single goal in any of the previous challenges I have done with my Teddy Bears! But this is the time! I am 6.6 lbs away from meeting this seasons goal! I know that's a lot but I think I can do it with a lot of hard work and SHRED!

Good Morning team. Sorry I have been missing in action a bit. I have been consumed with a couple of challenges that I was leading.. busy busy..
Hope everyones Spring is going well, and Summer will be here this week, just wish the weather would say so.. we have had nothing but rain for the past two weeks. today yesterday and to day where one of the best days so far. today it is going to be sunny and 72 woohoo.

Jen congrats on your weight loss. what restart are you doing? I have to share with ya all, that for the past 4 weeks I have been doing my shakeology again and eating really clean no picking, no bad carbs.. and really staying in focus with my food. working out is never an issue for me because I go to the gym 3x a week, I row 2x a week and ride my bike in between
but I have been playing around with the 5 to 7 lbs of going up 2 down 3 up 3 down 1.. or staying the same for the longest time I mean longest time.. it was very frustrating but in these past 4 weeks I have dropped 12 lbs.. I am so excited.. and so motivated to keep on going
I know the rest of my weight will come off slow but I plan on staying focused that is for sure..

Well Hope everyone has a great day.. Happy Hump day..

Anita

Good Morning everyone! Orion Music Festival was the BEST! I will post a blog with pics soon!

Reflection:

I am down 0.2 lbs this week. I was very surprised considering TOM, all the beer I consumed this weekend emoticon , and that we ate out for the first time, a few times this weekend, in over a month. But I certainly got my share of walking, dancing, jumping and so on this weekend. I got in way more that I actually tracked.

Shred wk 3

Last week I decided to post-pone my restart of week 3 until today. So here we go again! I am excited to get back on track! I miss my smoothies lol.

Now lots of stuff to get on at home. Evies last day is tomorrow then both the kiddos are on summer break. I really have to get back to Curves! Which will be hard this summer since it is across from the kids school so I would drop them off and go. Now the whole routine is going to be weird.

Well have a great day everyone!

I have decided to restart week 3 next Wednesday. This has been to hectic and with the festival this weekend I didn't want to set myself up for failure. I plan to not eat like a pig though! And I will get plenty of walking in over the weekend! I ate pizza yesterday which was the first time in over a month that we have had fast food. Made my stomach hurt. So I know I have to make sure to get the healthiest options I can find down at the festival since I am unable to bring food items.

I will do my best to post over the weekend for the challenges in BLC and Spring 5%. I should be able to do a quick post tomorrow morning but I doubt I will be able to on Sunday. I am not sure what time on Monday we will be home so I will do what I can then too.

FOR BLC WEEKEND CHALLENGE:
J (Real information about me): I am a wife and sahm mom. My hubby was my fourth grade crush and we have been married for almost 9 years. My daughter Evie is 8 and my son Jay will be 5 on the 5th of July. I am a student and I am constantly on the go. I stopped working in 2009 to focus on my children and school. I didn't want them to go to the district we live in so I drive them about 20 min away everyday. I love to read mysteries, romance, erotica, and non fiction. I love watching movies. Some of my favorite actors are Bradley Cooper, Sandra Bullock, Jen Anniston, Josh Duhmel, Channing Tatum, Nick Cage, Robert Downey Jr...just to name a few. I love action, romantic comedies, horror, just about anything really. We have a collection of Disney, DreamWorks and so on DVD's of over 300. I love Amazon lol. I am a perfectionist so I get down on myself a lot. I am trying to fix that! We love to go on trips, family outings, fishing, bowling, and swimming. Which I still need to get our pool up. I have a strong interest in Bulldogs since we got Bella. They are the best breed! And that's about it!

N (SMART Goals):

Lose a total of 47 lbs
Lose 5lbs by 6/8/2013-Motivation: Orion Music Festival...did not meet :(
Lose 20lbs by 8/16/2013-Motivation: My 30th Bday
Reach goal weight by 11/14/2013

Good morning all,

Wednesday Reflection

Weigh in/Measurements:

*Last week I had to lose 5.8 lbs to meet my goal for today for this weekends Orion Festival. Well needless to say I didn't reach that BUT I did LOSE!!! Only 0.6 of a lb which I thought for sure with TOM in the mix it would be a big gain! That's awesome!!!

*Since Jan 2013 I have been a member of Curves. They weigh and measure me every month. I got measured on May 31. Before she handed me my report she went onto explain since my last measure in in April they have had a training session and discovered all employees were measuring too tight. I always kinda figured that something wasn't right but maybe it was just me and I measured myself wrong since I figures weren't totally the same. Well needless to say I had a total increase in inches of 19.25 which was not what I wanted to hear. But looking back these were more close to mine. However I do know that I am losing around the waist because my wonderful hubby noticed!!! So when I measure in at the end of this month I should see an actual change!!! For the better :)

Shred:

Shred week 3 was a bust for me. As I stated before it was going to be the hardest week. I followed for the first 2 days and then I got hungry so I ate all weekend (good things, stayed in cal range). So I learned from my mistakes this week and have decided to repeat week 3 this week.

Orion Music Festival:

This weekend is mine and my hubby's early anniversary mini vacation to the Orion Music Festival. This is going to be quite the challenge for following Shred. We are not able to bring food into the festival. There are no microwaves in the room where we are staying and getting a refrigerator is requested and based on availability. So taking a small cooler with my fruits and veggies, some canned fruits and veggies, proportioned snacks, my Magic Bullet, and my Shred book and will do my best this weekend!

Family news:

Jay graduates from preschool this morning :( So sad yet so exciting!!! His official last day is Friday and then he will officially be a Kindergartener. Evie's last day is next Thursday and she then is officially a 3rd grader. Bittersweet! Lots of stuff going on from Jay's bday party at then end of the month to a couple graduation parties this month and next. I get tired just looking at my calendar. Going to be a busy beginning to the summer

BLC 22

So happy that the challenge starts today. Excited to be a Violet Venus again! Love this team! Such a great support! Good luck to all the BLCer's!

Spring 13 5%

Proud to announce that I have been consistently losing each week so this maybe my first time that I meet goal with this challenge! GO TEDDIES!

All for now have a great day!

Week 2 in review:

Weigh in: down 1.8 lbs. Was hoping for a bigger loss this week but that's ok. Its still a loss! I probably would have seen a bigger loss had I exercised over the long weekend and stuck completely to the diet plan. Although I didn't stick to it entirely I didn't pig out, I stayed within my calorie range, so that's a good thing! I was really worried about that. Good thing we stayed around the house! Now to meet my first short term goal I need to loss 5.8lbs this week.

Week 3 begins today. This week is "Transformation" week and is supposed to be the hardest of all 6 weeks. And reading thru the meals for the next 7 days I see it! For the first 3 days of the week all 4 meals each day I have the choice of just smoothies, shakes or soup, with the exception of today's meal 1 and day 3's meal 1 I can have cereal or oatmeal. No meat til day 4. Really the "liquid" meals aren't as bad as I thought. They taste really good and are filling. I think this week I will need to try to make at least one of the soup recipes in the back of the book and I need to get some vanilla whey powder for the other protein shake recipes in the book. I can only make 1 right now with my chocolate whey. I can't wait to get my Magic Bullet blender this week!!! I think that if I stick to the plan 100% this week I can lose this 5.8 lbs to meet goal!

Heres to a great week and a big loss!!!

Hey team Happy Weekend.. it is going to be a cold rainy weekend where I am right now it is 45 and rain.. drizzle ugh.. I was going to go to the gym but I just do not want to go out so I am making today a rest day. it is not like I have been slacking in the fitness this week, which this week was a good one.. I am down 8lbs since almost 3 weeks ago.. just eating clean, and working out.. drinking lots of water too.

Jen.. the weight gain could be your body adjusting to that meal plan your on, sometimes that happens.. you will see a drop as soon as your body adjusts.. I know for me my body gets so use to anything I do say if I am eating the same calorie range for more then 10 days my weight dose not drop. so I have to do something, anything to shake it up..
these past 3 weeks I have been very conscious of what I have been eating, like no bread, or pasta or pizza. even though I would not go over my calorie range when I did eat that stuff.. but that would always effect my weight loss. and too I have stopped the picking.. which I am bad at.....
I love protein shakes and smoothies, I make them all the time..I got some good recipes if you are looking for a veggie smoothie..

Hope everyone has a Safe and Warm Memorial Day weekend.. I have to work all weekend long I guess that is what happens when you work in a clothe store which will busy because of the sales and the weather because no one can go out side.. ugh..

emoticon Keep pushing everyone

Good morning. Not a very happy weigh day for me today emoticon . Up 2.8 lbs this week emoticon . I was expecting a loss after the first week of the Shred diet. I did mess up really bad on Saturday but didn't expect this much of a gain. Also noticed during this first week that I consistently stayed at the high end and sometimes a tad over my calorie range each day with all 4 meals and 3 snacks a day. So for week 2 of the Shred (challenge week) I notice that some of the meals he decreases you down to 250 cals for soups and smoothies (the liquid meals). So that will help. I also plan on those meals to try to do the smoothies instead of the soups this week. Maybe limit soup to just 2-3 times this week and the rest of the week will make smoothie or protein shake. I write down my meal plan but I don't put it in my tracker until I eat. So I am going to attempt to put my food choices in my tracker at the beginning of the day to see if I need to adjust a meal or snack option to stay at the lower end of my calorie intake. I also plan to really up my cardio/ST. I am consistent at Curves-3 times a week but not so much at home. Yesterday I was really wore out, dull headache and my knee was hurting so I didn't do any. So that will be my 1 rest day and for the rest of the week I will get at least 45 minutes each day!

One good thing I noticed was eating many small meals at specific time intervals really helped my hypoglycemia. No more shakes and not as many headaches emoticon

Sorry everyone that I don't chat on the group threads as much. I am enjoying not having to be on the computer doing homework as much so I don't spend time on the computer that often. Hope everyone is doing well emoticon emoticon

Good Morning everyone! So sorry I have been MIA over the past couple weeks. After the 5% challenge and BLC I decided to take a break from being on the computer so much. Spring 5% begins tomorrow so I am BACK lol.

Updates:
*finals went well. Ended both classes with a B. Done now for the summer.
*Still waiting to here about the student AP position at my school. She reposted the job since she was looking for 2-3 students. Looks like she will be interviewing until June 8. So still keeping my fingers crossed
*I am getting more consistent with my exercise. Also doing the FB 30 Ab and Crunch challenge with some of my friends on FB.
*I have been tracking my food again. We got those new smartphones so I downloaded the SP app and now all I have to do is scan the barcode with my phone to track my food. Makes it so much easier.
*On May 1 I gave myself a goal to lose a min of 5 lbs by the time we go to the Orion Music Festival June 8 and 9. I weighed in Wednesday and was already done 2.2 lbs
*I haven't been munching out in the evenings over the past couple weeks.

I think that's about it. Been spending time with the kids after school and trying to catch up on stuff around the house.

Tonight heading over to my moms for Mothers day. Then we are to see my MIL tomorrow. Sunday we were supposed to spend the day fishing at the park which was one of my favorite times when Evie caught her first fish while I was pregnant with Jay on mothers day. But no more 70-80 degrees sunny days. Cold front came in today with lots of rain and will only be55 on Sunday :/ So DH bought me a beautiful Blue Orchid yesterday and we will be going to see IronMan 3 on Sunday with the kids. New poles and fishing another time ;)

Have a great day everyone! And a wonderful Mothers Day!!!

I didn't get that Jillian Video done last night but did manage my 75 squats - today is 80, then a Rest Day. By the end of this month, I will do 300 squats! My lower body will be hollering!

I wanted to get outside for Lunch today, but due to computer craziness, that didn’t happen - It is bonkers here! Our front desk was down for a portion of the morning - Printer, credit card machine, computer, and main phone line - ACK!!! It is going to be a long day. I will have to get something done after work tonight.

I didn't manage my run on Saturday as I usually go to the track and since they did Relay for Life the Friday night - I didn't want to be in the way of the people taking down the tents & stage. I did something else but not nearly what I should have.
Hoping to do Jillian 30 day shred this afternoon + my 75 squats for my 30 day Squat challenge

We had a great first meeting, Blake was so excited about it and their upcoming events.
He is having his Board of Review (BOR) for his next rank tomorrow (they looked over requirements and know that he will do what is needed)

Have a Scout Recruitment on Sunday - hope we can get some new scouts.

Planning on a Run Saturday morning before going spend the afteroon at the BOR

We start our new Boy Scout Troop tonight - excited and nervous all at the same time - I will have a completely different role here - MOM! (LOL) but I will stay active with the Troop and do whatever they need me to do.

We (Cub Scout Pack) are doing Opening Ceremony for Relay for Life in New Iberia tomorrow night - posting the colors & leading the Survivor's Walk. Very touching!

this weekend we are finishing Personal Fitness (for Scouts) then helping some friend move, another friend's child will be staying with us as his parents are going to Alexandria to see a friend involved in a bad Motorcyle accident the other day; he is in bad condition. We have a Pack Scout Meeting and plannning the Blue & Gold Banquet on Sunday.

Adam was very pleased with his haircut yesterday and even took time to practice styling his hair last night. We walked over to the New PetSmart in New Iberia after getting hair cut & got our cats a few goodies
My co-worker injured her back somehow so we will put the 30 day Shred & NTC on hold until she is ready to resume it. We will continue to walk for Lunch though

We did 30 day Shred yesterday for Lunch and my co-worker is sore today. She has the Fitness Waddle (as I called it when I first started) today - this is when you start working muscles that you thought you used everyday but soon realize that you don't when you start a fitness regimen. So we will walk today. I will do the 30 day shred video before leaving work today (hopefully)

We had a nice time at the Science Museum; as we had gone to NASA this summer that got the Scouts closer to having their requirements met for Astronomy Belt Loop & Pin. We only had 5 Scouts (out of 10) come and 2 left after the first Planetarium Show (those hadn't come to NASA, are Tiger Cubs, & were going to another Scout's Birthday party)
I managed to get a Spark Video Done before leaving tracked 1 mile of walking (to and from the Museum).

I gave in to the Lazies again: I actually got out the bed, went into the Bathroom, & just crawled right back into bed. I am a little frustrated with myself about it but planning to do a NTC routine today for lunch with my co-worker. I will get a walk done after work tonight & attempt a run tomorrow AM before out Scout Field Trip.
We are taking the Cub Scouts to the Science Museum and they will work on earning the Astronomy Belt Loop/Pin – Belt Loop is for the younger ranks (Tiger (1st grade), Wolf (2nd grade), Bear (3rd grade) – Pins are for the Webelos (4th & 5th Graders)

I know how hard it is to stay accountable. It is a lifestyle change and a lifelong journey. As I blogged a while back, "Choose your hard": It is hard to be complacent and sedentary; as well, as hard to be active and mindful! I will choose the latter of the two

I think that I will change my current goal to just maintaining my current loss for a while. Then I will resume my weight loss journey (only 20 lbs left to final goal).
I stood up Jillian for my AM fitness routine but did the video yesterday afternoon after walking 2.33 miles. Not sure what we will do today for Lunch as Co-worker has errands to do and expected to start raining today - but we will get something done.

Close your eyes…..
Open your mind…..

Jen – Glad to hear that things are going well for you! Will keep my phalanges (toes/fingers) crossed about your job. Glad that you opted to still get in that Fitness and be able to go on the Field Trip. (I missed a lot of them with my boys – luckily they understand)

Just a quick note: still have lots to do. I allowed the Lazies beat me this morning: But it’s my half day at work so going home to do a Video (30 day Shred by Jillian Michaels) and get a walk in.

Good News:
*I am down a lb this week. Finally the scale moves the right direction. It has been weeks possible months since I have seen it decrease instead of increase. Hopefully I can remain going in the right direction.
*My job interview last week went really well. They want someone to start the 29th. I was expecting to hear from her end of last week or this week and I rec'd an email from her last night. She need clarification on which location of a job I had a few years back was (I actually did the books for both) and then she wanted to know what the lowest salary I would accept as what I stated was too high for a student position. I went down $2 from what I wanted because I still have a lot of experience in payables. So hopefully we can agree on that. Least I know they are still interested in me :)
*My hubby got a nice promotion at work. More than we anticipated :)
*Paperwork for our new home loan has been submitted. We will be put on a 6mnth waiting list though. (USDA loan) but that's fine because in order for us to take on a mortgage payment I need to be working part time. Otherwise we would never have any extra money for gas or anything.
*My last official class was Monday...yay. My online final is open this week. So I can take it anytime by Friday at Midnight. My Spanish final is next Wednesday. Then done til September :)

Other news:
*My youngest will be in full day kindergarten starting this fall, so the preschool has put together 2 days for a full day of school and will teach them about kindergarten. His first day is Friday. I think he will be fine he loves school!!
*My daughter has her Spring recital on Friday too. Going to be busy that day!!
*Going on my sons first field trip out of the school with him today. I have to meet him at Buschs at 10:30. So that means I have 1hr half hr to spare. I wasn't going to hit Curves since I wouldn't have time to shower, but I decided I am going to go. Taking a change of clothes and will clean up in the bathroom.
*Doing a little better with my night time eating of cereal and ice cream. So that's a plus.

Well I think that is about it! Have a fantastic day friends!!!

I actually fought the retched Lazies and WON today - got in a Weight Watchers Stability Ball Exercise Video. I hadn't done it in a while and couldn't remember if I was doing the Intermediate or Advanced workouts. so I choose to use caution and did the Intermediate workout - well, I now know that I am ready for the Advanced Workout. - Yah Me!
Co-worker is sore today so we are going walk. I told her that we are doing 2 miles!
Other Co-worker will join us (or at least said she will) but knows that she can't keep up, I told her that she doesn't have to, I just want her out there doing what she can.

Let the lazies win again today but did NTC for Lunch with my co-worker/Friend & we brought it baby! I am so proud of her sticking with it and getting this routine done as it can be challenging even to me (who has being doing more challenging things than her)

Won’t be able to do anything after work as oldest has Board of Review for Scouts – finally moving up in Rank (months after it should have happened) but I will not get into that.

I feel like I may be joining the ranks of having a love/hate relationship with Jillian as I felt great to do her routine the other day; so I will change up my routine to include this in the mornings and do whatever my co-worker & I decide to do for Lunch. I need to encourage her to start some ST - but small steps as doing NTC with her was hilarious. She has less coordination than I do but managed to get it finished, which is more than I can say about the other co-worker that sat there watching us and critiqued how my co-worker was doing everything.

Had a great run this morning - got a new PB time of 12 min mile. It felt great ~~~ especially knowing that I am faster than most of my scouts (only 2 had better times than me).

Anita -- I was doing great about ST when I first started this journey, then around September/October or so I just let that part of my fitness routine disappear. I just want to stay toned - especially considering the amount I lost. I always mix up my routine to keep things fresh and different -- I suffer from exercise ADD. Can't stick with one thing too long (LOL)

Today we are trying a Zydeco Exercise Video (something a co-worker found at a local Flea Market); Looks fun. Doing a Virtual 5k & Scout Personal Fitness meeting tomorrow, then have a family BBQ with my dad's brother, who came in from Massachusetts – they don’t get to get back down here too often.

Happy Friday all. sad to say the Sun is not out. it is cold and rain and even snow might come my way.. I hope that day we had 65 was not are only Spring day.. but it sure feels that..

Sitting here debating weather to go to the gym or just use my spinning bike, I so want to do a spinning session seeing I only did that once this week, So I think I might do a Spinning session at home then do my stretches and ab work..

Amy.. toning up dose not come fast, I think for me I need to work the areas of my body at least 3x a week that I want to improve, I am mostly going for strength.. instead of building and I am going for toning.. I love to work my shoulders, arms, chest and back.. and legs. it seems I have a hard time with the mid section.. I am not crazy about crunches but who is? I love planks and I have gotten better at them..

Keep doing what your doing.. because before you know it you will be able to perform all the movements then it will be time to move on.. because you always need to keep switching it up when It comes to working muscle, if your doing the same thing over and over it gets way to use to it..
Have you ever heard of les mills Body pump? OMG I love that class, some gyms offer it other then that you can do it at home as well

Ok.. better hit that bike. it is calling me.. have a great weekend everyone

Jen / Anita – I so can relate with your thoughts.

I had lost momentum for a while and was beginning to get really down on myself. I finally realized that I have come to far to spiral back to where I came from. I have decided to “pick my hard” by choosing to continue to work hard with diet and exercise. (By Diet, I mean eat a healthy one and not get on the bandwagon of whatever fad diet they have out there) I am dedicated to make this lifestyle change stick.

I started 30 day Shred with Jillian Michaels and thought that I was in shape. Wowsers, Jillian sure did a number on me. My thighs and shoulders are burning. I felt good while in my house and thought I would go for a Run. Then I went down my stairs to get the boys from the sitter. HA; that made me realize that although I have been walking/running, doing the Spark People Bootcamp, I am not toned or pushing myself enough. I need to tone up the 60+ lbs that I have lost. Push ups are still my weakness but this will improve & I will have Jillian to thank for it.

Happy Thursday team.. emoticon emoticon Amy on the weight loss.
your are moving in the right direction..

JEN- Trust me we all have been there and I know I have been there more then I want to remember but one thing for sure things do turn around.. I guess for me is when I stop fighting my self. and go through the motions of what I need to be doing.. and stop looking at this as a "diet" ... Losing weight is hard a lot of people will say it is easy less calories in and more burned equals weight loss. and you know something no kidding it is that but if it was that simple we would not be always fighting it, and I always ask my self why do I fight it so hard why do I make it so hard on my self..

Late night and mindless munching is my downfall it gets me all the time then next day step on the scale see that it is up by 2 and I get all down on my self.. it is hard that is for sure
but one thing for sure is we can have plans of actions, something that we can do side step the munchies or eating ... sometimes I have to make my self go to bed even if it is 9pm..
other times I simple have a planned fruit or protein.. then that way I do not feel like I ate something bad.. and then there is just plan not having the junk in the house chips, cookies.. or ice cream which they are not in the house.. ...I know my husband likes his chips but oh well.. LOL..
but serious.. healthy living is not hard.. it dose take practice.. I mean living unhealthy is easy too we do that with out even putting any thought to it.. and I think we can do that with healthy living such as getting 8 hours sleep, eating right, working out.. drinking enough water, eating enough fruit and veggies.. and also keeping out mind clear of negativity.. sounds easy but I can be.. if we stop fighting it..

You can do this.... keep reaching high love your self. and look forward.. not backwards..

I was up again this week only by .2. I know I am the problem. My inconsistencies and late night over-snacking. So during the interim challenge that is what I will work on. I was planning to revise my goals this evening but feel like relaxing so I have the day tomorrow to work on them. I am also going to clear out a spot that I can keep all my workout dvds and equipment all under the tv in the cabinet so they are easy to access and all in one spot. I really have to focus on my eating. I love cereal and ice cream. and not the good ones the fun ones that the kids like. So when I go grocery shopping next I will only buy them the kids I do not like lol...we will try that. I have to work on consistency and discipline. If I don't pick these habits back up again I will just keep failing. I am the highest weight I have been since I gave birth. I am so uncomfortable and miserable and depressed. I never realized how weight can affect your mental state. I have the knowledge and the tools but not the motivation. I am on a roller coaster and I can't seem to get off and stay on the right track. But I have to do it. I have to do it for my health. I am high risk of diabetes and heart disease and the more weight I put on the higher risk I get. Its time to just stop giving excuses and just do it.
