I feel as though a group email wouldn't necessarily be something that people would respond to. You could try making it just a newsletter-type email. Maybe include who is the top message board poster/huddler/fitness logger etc. for the week. You could also include the most active forum threads of the week, new forum threads of the week, and maybe a way of recognising those who are the most active in the group. Maybe even see if there's a way to have people vote (if they want to) on what new topic threads to start?
I used to send group email outs but no one ever responded so I quit sending them. I have tried to post new subjects for conversation but no one ever responds to them. There is a large portion of the team that participates by tracking fitness minutes and sparkpoints. I think we need a challenge to get people involved. I have a few ideas but would love to hear from the team any ideas that you may have.

I honestly have no idea. Do people even get notices about this team if stuff happens in it? I have all of my notifications turned off(just cleared literally thousands of spam emails out of my inbox). I wish there was an easy way of telling who all was still actually using spark. Even I had joined and then didn't even bother with the site for almost a year. My problem just was that it wasn't set as one of my homepages when I open Firefox.... omg.. sorry.. I seriously have a rambling problem that I don't intend to fix. I don't know how we would even get people to come and check up on the group. Can we send group emails/sparkmails? A lot of the groups seemed to have died out. I'm only really active on two groups.

Really appreciate you posting. I'm at a loss for what we can do to make this team more of a team. I try and get on the site at least once a day and huddle everyday. Just doing my part to make this team a go!
