When I got home from work yesterday, my husband showed me some presents his sister bought for us. They were Christmas ornaments.
One said "Merry Christmas 2013" and had a man, woman, and dog on it. They were labeled with our names and Daisy's.
The other one was an ornament that said, "Sammy, 1999 - 2013, I will see you when I get to heaven."
I know she meant well, but seeing it turned me into a sobbing, vomiting heap in the bathroom. What appallingly bad taste. My husband said he cried when he saw it, too, and he didn't know if he should talk to her about it or not. I told him that he should only if it would make him feel better. He did, which then turned all 3 of us into sobbing messes.
She said she saw the first one, and got it, and then she saw suggestions about other things to buy, you know how they do that on Amazon? So she clicked on it, and it had excellent reviews, so she thought it would be nice. And I'm sure it is for some people. Not for me. And not like this. Not from someone else.
I feel like someone took my stomach and squeeeeeeeezed, and my head kills. I may not be able to go to work today.
I'm 4'10.5". A normal BMI for my height tops out at 119.
