Not important. I used to work out at Bally's where music played all the time, and I liked it fine, especially when I was using the elliptical because it helped me go faster. Bally's closed and I'm at Gold's Gym where no music is played at all. I don't miss it. It's nice and quiet there with gentle sounds of gym activity. I don't need music to help me move faster.

When I walk outside, I like to hear the sounds around me.
