Easier than I thought. As along as I drink enough water, I am fine. When I really crave junk, I eat some fruit and the crave goes away. I did treat myself to nondairy lite ice cream today. So I have regressed...But from July 1 until today I have done well... I will get back on track tomorrow. Not having junk in the house and having fruit handy has really helped. Now if only I could be more consistent with exercise and maybe the weight will come off.
Wanted to do a do over July 1 but I went on vacation and lost everything I was doing well so new plan 1 stop the madness lost 40 pounds gained back 5 refocus 2 start slow walk, move 3 eat smart 4 remember how I enjoyed losing those 40 pounds felt wonderful And proud Think positive we can do it

I teach and try to create goals every summer. This summer, I am trying to follow the Detox Diet book by Alex Jaimeson. So far, I have followed week one. Drink 10 glasses of water a day, Week 2 and 3: Get rid of caffeine and sugar. Not sure what next week will bring. I think it is get rid of bad fats, keep good ones....I have lost four pounds getting rid of sugar...I hope that continues! I gained 10 pounds during the busy months of April - June with my daughter's track meets and son's baseball games. Looking forward to getting rid of that 10 pounds this summer.
