FINAL RESULTS - so apparently I hit a plateau at the wrong time!! Missed by goal - but on the bright side I went from 320.5 to 303 in 10 weeks which is still 17.5 lbs which I am happy with.

Glad to see this thread is still alive and well and that others are still doing the challenge as we approach the final weigh in.

I'm down to 214.2, a loss of 1 pound this week but it was hard fought to lose even that much. I feel time tick-tick-ticking away on me.
Okay, I came back strong this week!! Started with heavier weights at the gym, and kicked up the cardio with a myriad of different things to try and kick the 156 mark. Alas, to no avail. I broke my analog scale, bought a new digital one. I really do not like it. I am not sure with this scale what my weight is!! I am either still at 156, or at 157.5, or 158, or 144 (my personal fav!)...... so I am sticking with 157.5 (gain of 1.5) or 156 (same, same same.) Uhg!

It's been a pretty rough week. I had been doing pretty good on my food (only over by 100 cals one day other than last night with my mad at the scale/ body mini pig out. But that was also only like 100 or so cals over) And with my workouts I've gotten in about about 15 miles so far and I'm only down .2 lbs!!! Very frustrated. I leave for the beach tomorrow and I'm going to do my best to work my butt off in the hotel gym, on the beach, and in the pool!!! :)

Ella --- I have the SAME problem ---- to the point that I don't want to even go on the scale because that would only make me more mad. I wonder if this is because our bodies are just telling us that our current weights are where we should stay? As for the motivation - is the baby tiring you out? I know mine is and there is noooo energy left for any type of working out ... but I agree THIS HAS TO CHANGE

I had a little bit of a better week. I'm down to 186 (again)which brings me down a total of 3.2 pounds. I'm a little sad about that though, I had hoped I would lose more. I've only just started to actually track my calories and am getting a real education here!!

I haven't really worked out in I think TWO WEEKS and I eat anything and everything. I walk around my house, literally shoveling things in my mouth! I haven't had this problem in a LOOOOOONG time!!! I don't gain much so I can't be going over my calories TOO much but the scale is still moving in a very depressing direction. What happened to my motivation and why am I sooooooo hungry??

I did a lot better this week than I expected. My 10 week challenge goal is 177 and I can't imagine not making it since today's weigh in was 179.8!!
I'm in the 170's!!!! I haven't been in the 170's since the beginning of my pregnancy in 2004. This is a 4 year low.

I gained a pound this week bringing me to 187. I knew I was going to gain because I had an extreme meltdown day and ate upwards of 5000 cal on Wed. I felt absolutely gross after that.

Confession time! Uhg, I went to New Orleans last weekend, did not make the best food choices, or drink choices. No gain on the scale!! On the other hand, I went riding with my DH Monday, felt terrible Tues. & Wed., so......I took the week off on the exercise front. I have not lost any this week......no gain either. I broke my scale, so now I need to buy a new one. JOY.
Keep up the great work, and next friday I will have a better report! At least I will have worked out consistently next week!!

OMG Keep up the awesome progresses everyone! Weigh-in at 1.5 lost. The scale did say a pound under that. So I added 1 more for water weight just to be safe. I need to step it up. I have been slow moving so far this week. I don't mind if I don't lose anything.. just no gain and continue.

This week was pivotal because I was able to get rid of my 'fat' scales. I had a set of scales that only went to 307, and I had to get a new scale that went above that to reflect my starting weight of 320. I think I actually lost more this week, but in scale changing, I'm ok with the loss I got. From now on I'll be 'exact' in weight measurement since this one is digital. It's really good to be under 307. Ahhhh.

good job sweet angel. I have stayed the same for 2 weeks. Mostly because I can;t walk because of achilles tendonittes. but I must be doing ok on my eating to stay the same weight. I hope everyone is doing good this week.

Alright, I don't think it was noticed but I feel that I owe an explanation. I made my goals this week not thinking about my placement tests on Thursday. So, most of my fitness goals I simply ignored. I got about 30-60 minutes a day, didn't ignore my diet, etc. But I didn't go gung-ho like I normally do:) Anyway, I did great on my placement tests (I registered for classes today, so hopefully I get into all the ones that I want), *and* I am down to 125.2!!!!! After my gain last week, I am pretty excited about that:)) I also changed my goal weight again after talking to a couple of other nursing moms and recently nursing moms. My new goal weight is 120, which is also my hopeful weight for the end of this challenge. 5.2 pounds to go!!!! I am ecstatic!!!!!
I'm down 1.4 lbs (from two weeks ago) ... not bad:) slow and steady.

Did you re-enter your exercise level in your goals?
I don't mean to sound rude, but 1200-1550 seems awfully low for that amount of exercise and your current weight. I think you may find you need to eat more.
I know this happens to me when I don't eat enough and exercise like crazy! You only have to check my nutrition log to see I have a lot of trouble eating enough!

I can not believe I am not losing weight. This week I burned 3765 calories. my calorie range was between 1200 - 1500

:(( Ok so I know that I had a bad week but seriously....
I had a gain of 2.2 pounds!?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
I seriously met every single one of my workout goals, and yes, calories wise, I know they were a little high but there is absolutely NO WAY that I hit upward of 4,000 calories a day, which is what mathematically I would have had to have hit in order to go up that much! I'm seriously depressed, what happened?

I know I'm a bit late in joining...just found this team. I've already been working out, so I'll find my stats and put them below. I will be gone on vacation May 1-10, but will keep track while I'm gone and report when I return. I'm getting married 8/2 and want to have to take the wedding dress UP and not OUT!

Calorie Range 1680-2030 Exercise Goal - 4 times/week *My goal this week is to get back on track, last week I was away and didnt focus too much, it's time to re-focus myself!
I would like to participate in the 10 week challenge! Am I too late? I was going to start my program tomorrow since I just got all set up with SparkPeople today. I guess I just start it tomorrow and post my progress? Is that how it goes?
Okay, a loss is a loss no matter how big or how small right?! I am down 1 lb agian this week. Slow and steady!!

This week I stayed the same. We call that a turtle in my TOPS group. My next weigh in is on Tuesday instead of Thursday so I really need to get on the ball and be super "good" this weekend!! Maybe I can squeak by with some sort of a loss!
This is the halfway point and I'm not doing nearly as well as I had hoped!

Week Five Day Four -
Total Weekly Calories - 6510/12,600-13,800 Steps - Got a new pedometer so I'm going to "test" it for the rest of the week. I know that it counts low though so it may be a lost cause:( Stretch - 2/5 Couch to 5k - 1/3 Days at the gym - 1/3 Strength Training - 1/2 hours Walk - 3/6 Cardio - 60 minute walk with my son (~160 calories), 25 minute Jillian DVD (~160 calories), and week four run (~180 calories) Weekly calories burned - 1261/2300 Weekly cardio hours - 5.5/8 Glasses of water - 8 Biggest Loser DVD - 0/3-4 30 Day Shred - 3/2-3 "Days with Jillian" - 1/5 Motivational visual - not yet made Inspiring movie - not yet watched Find motivational quote - :)
