I visited your page and see our weight at the present and our goal weight is the same. I have been struggling for over a year to try and lose more weight. I met regularly with my dietitian for almost three years (until she had a baby last October and has not contacted me back since). I eat right, I exercise - no results on the scale. In fact over the last three months aI have gained. I have been very frustrated and discouraged. At this point I have said to my husband - maybe this is i. Maybe I just cannot lose any more and this is the weight I have to be satisfied with. Nothing I have done has resulted in losing again. Maybe it is time for me to put the scale away too. (I do not have thyroid issues like you either)
Hi; I went to the Dietician, and basically she told me I'm doing everything right. She said I should watch my sugars more closely and not eat as much fruit as I have been. Also to stick to good oils and not use any butter, except occasionally. According to her the med's I take hamper my success with losing weight, and since my thyroid is bad, the med's I take for it keep me from losing weight. So from now on I am going to stop sweeting the small stuff, and just keep eating healthy. I am done beating myself up because I can't reach a certain weight. I have put my scale away, and am only going to weigh myself once a month. Today- tomorrow and the rest of the life God gives me, is going to be spent with things that make me happy, and I am going to
