My 2011 went pretty well, except for the losing weight part. As a college student, it's just so hard to lose weight while living on campus! It seems like even when I am eating healthy food, the weight isn't coming off. My goals for 2012 are to start running again. And by that, I mean ACTUALLY running again... like the kind of running I did back during my years in high school (cross country races, indoor and outdoor track practices). I also want to get serious about this losing weight thing.

In 2011, I wanted to get serious about losing some weight. In September, I did, and managed to lose 13 lbs! I also kept up with my doc appointments, like I promised myself. For 2012, I want to continue with the weight loss and go back to college. I also just found I have diabetes and this year I want to control it through diet and exercise. I have a challenge this year too. In May, my husband leaves to go to Korea. I have to go to college full-time and raise 2 kids on my own, while dieting and exercising, and keeping up with my doctor's appointments. My whole life is going to be turned around and I'm welcoming the positive changes!
