It's good to see a few of us still chugging along!
And although I wish all of us had accomplished every goal we've ever set this year, just the fact that we ARE still here is great. It's interesting that we have all had ups and downs and plateaus - usually we read the "success stories" of people who have lost a huge amount of weight in a short time, and honestly, sometimes those stories make me feel bad, like I'm a failure because I haven't done the same.
Now I think differently - that we are the typical story, and those amazing successes are the exception to the rule. So I'm going to keep working at it. I can't wait to see where I am next year!

I decided to check this group also in honor of being here one year. I loved hearing that others have now recommitted after having backslid as well. After losing 60 pounds, I have not lost any weight since November and over past couple weeks have actually fallen back into old eating patterns and have gained about 8 pounds. I am so thankful for all I have learned on SparkPeople over the past year and want to start fresh. Today sounds like a good time.
Your story seems eerily similar to mine!!! I last about 25 lb pretty fast last year when I joined, then i fell off the wagon and gained back about 15 lb. Now I'm back on track. I feel like I'm in the zone, so focused. Now if my weight would just start showing it.... I acually just checked this teams page because i was thinking about dropping it. One year... WOW!!! any one else???
We are coming up on our 1-year "Sparkaversary," so I was wondering who is still around from our group, and how everyone is doing.
I've never really been active in this group, but a year on SparkPeople is a big deal!
Here's my story: After I joined, I immediately rebelled (again what, I have no idea) and gained, plus gained some more over the summer. Since then, though, I have turned things around. I've joined a club, finished Couch to 5K, taken lots of classes at the gym, and lost about 30 pounds.
