Focused Foodie, but I don't really agree. There wasn't an option for "I eat my meal while preparing dinner for the family because I'm too starving to make it through the preparation and to the actual meal."

I'm also a balancing act... My favorite place to eat is in front of the TV. I know that it is better for your digestion and awareness of how much you're eating to eat at the dining room table. I find, though, if I either have portioned out my meal before I sit down in front of the TV or just stop eating when I'm satisfied, then it doesn't have a negative effect on my weight control. This probably isn't politically correct but I just find it more relaxing to watch TV and eat. Guess I should just relax at the table and eat.

My result was balancing act also. I do plan my meals, but (for example) when I get home from work I exercise, then make dinner, then come to the computer to log my meals for the day. Of course while I am doing that I am eating...never thought of it as bad since I do plan what I eat ahead of time so I dont overeat.
