I'm also a balancing act... My favorite place to eat is in front of the TV. I know that it is better for your digestion and awareness of how much you're eating to eat at the dining room table. I find, though, if I either have portioned out my meal before I sit down in front of the TV or just stop eating when I'm satisfied, then it doesn't have a negative effect on my weight control. This probably isn't politically correct but I just find it more relaxing to watch TV and eat. Guess I should just relax at the table and eat.
