Thanks, Zella.

I did get an unique code and entered it. It showed that I will receive my strength band, but my points aren't added. I will connect with the tech staff.

You should have received an email with a "unique code" and instructions on how to enter that code? But if you didn't or you're having problems finding where to enter the code, I'd suggest posting your question to the message board for Site and Tech help: www.sparkpeople.com/myspark/messageb

You can print out each daily report...there's a button down at the bottom right that says "See Today's Full Report" which will take you to a printable page.

Hope that helps!

I've got a question. Kind of a silly one, but... I was answering trivia questions and they got one wrong. The question was: "True or False: Carbohydrates are the only source of energy used by the brain." Their answer was: "True - Carbohydrates are necessary for the regulation of nerve tissue and are the ONLY source of energy for the brain." This isn't quite correct, though. The brain preferentially uses glucose, and usually that's all it will use, but in conditions of fasting for several days, it can switch over and use mainly ketone bodies. It's part of our body's survival mechanisms during starvation. Anyway, just bugs me that they got that wrong and there's no way to tell them about it. :-(

nope, you can't just track sugar unless you want the food. Your body breaks down sugars. :)

Under add a food on the nutrition menu asked for granulated sugar and I think you'll find what you need.

I am looking to track how much sugar that I consume but it seems to be broken down by glucose, sucralose, fructose... Is there a way to just track sugar?

Thanks!

LUSHON, those are topics that the co-leaders have "stuck" to the top of the message board so that members don't have to scroll down to find them as new topics are added. The "sticky" posts are usually the ones that have general information related to the message board or contain an ongoing challenge.

Why are some topics "sticky"?

It sounds like you might have forgotten to click SAVE after you entered your recipe. After you've entered everything, there's a SAVE button at the bottom. That's where you can check the box to share if you want. But after the finished recipe comes up, you need to click on that second SAVE button at the TOP of the posting. In that same row of buttons, you can also click to add it to your favorites. Hope that helps!

If you're asking if they have any real monetary value, no, they're just for fun.

You can use your Spark points to buy "goodies" for your Spark buddies (or for yourself) - it's also fun to have a points challenge either between teams or team members.

I have a Spark friend and we are "racing" to reach a goal by Easter Sunday. She has close to 50,000 points and I'm hoping to break 40,000 in the same period. Just 279 to go!

Aha! I found it too! Thanks, JAXGIRL4. I hadn't seen that in a long time but I actually had made a couple of entries there a loooong time ago myself.

Just one thing, you have to click PLANNER on the TOOLS menu before you get to the actual JOURNAL.

Another cool Spark resource :)

Priscilla, I'm not sure what you're referring to. I don't see any blog posts on your page, so it must be something else?

Maybe you're looking for the "Notes" button at the bottom of the Nutrition tracker? You can write short journal entries there as well.
