I'm going to reach Level 19 today - can't believe it! I remember when I started with SP and saw other members at level 17 or 18 and thought "it'll take me forever to get there". I don't know where that time went but I've learned so much by being on this site.
Have a great day everyone! Pat

I definitely need to sit down and re-evaluate my goals. Why is time so limited these days??!

So glad to hear that Val. Exercise makes such a big difference Getting the Christmas cards done and over with today (can you tell I'm looking forward to it!). The older I get the less I enjoy all this fuss. I'll enjoy it Christmas day when my g-daughter is opening presents. Have a good day, Pat

I would love to be in the 140's. I'm still not even in one-derland. But we can't give up.

I am joining the gym next week so I can begin swimming to rehab the back. I need to make it a goal to get there at least 2 times a week to start.

Reached another 2012 goal I set for myself - I finished a book I've been reading for a long time now! Finally got through it

so far, two of my 2012 goals have been met: paid of my car loan and got rid of items left over from my first marriage (felt great!)

On 5/6/2012, I said:
"Earn 500 'Fitness Minutes.' Give up one food for a week. Change or add to that food the next week."
I'm very close to 500 Fitness minutes (475?) for May. I made a "No ice cream" rule and only stuck to that for about five days. However, I have NOT had , OR ! That should count, right??

thanks for my picnic basket goodie - well- goals - so far i have been very good on my water intake and have cut way back on coffee. of course the warm weather certainly helps with that. i have stuck to ONLY WHAT IS ON MY SHOPPING LIST and therefore - very little temptation around - so i have snacked less and when i do snack - choices are healthy . i have not done all the exercise planned - so that is one thing i really have to work on. i also have not reached my expectations for weight loss - consistent weight loss should be a minimum of one pound per week - and i will still aim for that. so - i think i have improve d- but not nearly enough. BB ps also have gotten the garden planted - looking forward to reaping the benefits -

Last month, I said,
"My Short-Term Goals: Eat at least one serving of fruit per day Lose 5 more pounds over the next month Exercise for 30 minutes X 3 days per week Record ALL Nutrition X 1 day per week or more."
I think I met the "Exercise for ... per week" but that's all. Maybe I should concentrate on a shorter list. Here are my goals for May 2012:
Earn 500 "Fitness Minutes." Give up one food for a week. Change or add to that food the next week.

I've been steadily working on my goals and doing well with all of them except reaching my goal weight by April (months almost over and I actually put some weight back on). I realize I can't do it all. Work, and life in general, has been demanding and I've had to do a lot of adjusting and readjusting but am back on track with food/exercise.
Have a great day, Pat

With Hubby's new health issues we are planning and eating much better dinners - this has helped me with getting in a healthier mindset as far as eating. We are doing pretty good with our new food goals.
Exercise is still very limited, but I won't give up!

I need to sit and re-assess my goals. I'm at a point where I need to take them week-by-week and not month by month.

My goal is to increase my walking. Such nice weather I should take advantage on walking outside. I have to start using a journal for my food intake. I am sure there are alot of extra calories that I am not aware of.

Goal is to continue losing slowly - 1 pound a week - while my knee is recovering and I can't walk/run. Also do upper body workout 3x a week and continue with baby steps to spring cleaning. Work this month on finishing some projects in my sewing basket - and big goal - paint the master bathroom and hall bathroom - one at a time of course!!

Great Idea Pat.
My goals are simple because I can't determine if my back is going to let me do much in the way of exercise. I have been giving some simple floor exercises and I have a goal to make sure those get done the required 3 days a week, but I will try for four. I will also keep going to the chiropractor and give the decompression time to work it;s magic. If I get any relief I hope to walk at least around the block too, but I will wait and see how the treatment goes first.

I'd like to keep this "spot" available for goal updates and discussion. Post here if you'd like to put your daily, weekly or monthly goals in writing, share your thoughts and "plan of attack" so-to-speak. No pressure! Just another way for us to share along our journeys
March goals update: I didn't lose any weight; stayed the same. Given the stress of this past month, I'm okay with that. continued working on the family photo gallery and got some pictures/decorating done in my "Pat Cave". Also, I got pictures of my grand daughter (framed and album) to my Mom. I've continued to pay additional towards my car loan and am close to paying it off! I've been reading but didn't meet the goal of 15 minutes every day but have fit in reading when I could. I was trying to conquer the habit of cuticle nibbling and have made some progress.
Goals for April: Lose at least 2 lbs.; continue to read/finish the book I'm currently reading; continue working on family photo gallery; pay down the car loan - of course, continue on the path of tracking exercise, water and food. Pat
