June 23 & I'm still here.
I have lost about 20 pounds. I'm close to the weight "goal" I set at the beginning--so right now any further progress is very slow.
I have been trying to eat on average the amount of calories for the weight I wanted. I wanted to lose the weight slowly. I'm in my 60's and my skin has very little elasticity. Also, I felt if I got used to eating for a certain weight, it would be easier to maintain.
My waist is still a lot larger than I want. Having fat around the waist is unhealthy especially as you get older. I guess for me, I will know I've reached my ultimate goal when my waist is smaller. However, I know I won't lose fat around my waist until I lose more fat in general.
Most of my weight loss has come from my legs with some over all. My legs still have some fat to come off but they are closer to "goal" than my waist.
What I am happiest about is the strong exercise habit I've established. Tomorrow my exercise day will make my streak 29 weeks. I count a week if I get four days minimum. I count a day if I get 30 minutes minimum of exercise. Most weeks I get more than four days and most weeks I get much more than 120 minutes of exercise. I love that SparkPeople lets you track the minutes.
Pats on the back to us all for hanging in there.

I'm still here as well. Making slow but steady progress, except for minor setbacks with water weight. Still, the overall trend is in the right direction.

It's good to see I'm not the only one who's been struggling! April was quite a social month - lots of eating and drinking. Also my birthday month - 49! My goal is to reach my goal weight 6 months before my 50th birthday and have maintained it, if not lost more, by my birthday. I want to turn 50 knowing how to STAY healthy. Anyway, congratulations everyone who is still sparkin' - I wish you all great success!!

You sound like me, JSHELLSC! No wedding, but definitely off the wagon. Last week I had only a 1 pound gain, but definitely behind in the program! Going to get started again in the morning. Actually, I already started after supper tonight. No snacking!

I'm BACK here. I had lost 10 pounds for my son's wedding, and then fell off the wagon. However, I am ready to start again. Haven't weighed-- not quite that brave yet. But I am back to tracking. Wish me luck! I'll weigh tomorrow.

I'm still here! Making slow, but steady progress. Some days / weeks are easier that others. I track food and exercise consistently. I have not been as active on this team as I have been on others. I intend to change that.
4-13-2010 is my 3-month anniversary and I am re-committing to my goals.

Congrats to everyone who has been here consistently the past three months now! I'm embarassed to admit I haven't been here regularly the whole time (I was too swamped with homework and internship applications and interviews the past few weeks and just didn't make it onto the site), but I decided it was about time to stop letting grad school get in the way of my weight loss goal. So here's hoping my 3 month anniversary will provide me with the motivation necessary to be good like the rest of you and stop by Spark People everyday! But congrats to all of you who have behaved this whole time; I hope to find the motivation to be like you from now on!

Great minds think alike. I just huddled with the words "Still here!" Yep, I'm still here. No progress this week (Easter ham and warm-weather water weight), but 10 pounds so far. Not a huge amount, but slow and steady progress without too much pain or deprivation!

I'm here. I've lost 20 pounds since joining, but have been kind of up and down and stagnant the past few weeks. I'm trying to get remotivated so I can get another 20 pounds off before fall. Move more today than you did yesterday!!! That's my motto.

Still here! I don't post on this team much, but I like to look at the blog entries from the members. I really love Sparkpeople and I can see myself being here for the foreseeable future-aka FOREVER!

I am here too!!! Although I wasn't on-line too much the first month or so. I would log in and mostly read success stories. As time went on, I slowly became more active in logging my food & fitness. I have lost around 15 lb., since 1/12!! (Weigh in day is tomorrow) Better than that-- I feel great and am getting healthy! I also am reading "The Spark", and I'm loving it!! I'm a little nervous, because we're getting ready to go away for a week-- lots of eating out, but I am determined to stay on target!!

WAY TO GO NOLAZOMBIE!! 20 pounds! Woohoo!
I'm still here..still haven't lost anymore than 3 pounds and I'm frustrated too..eating right, working out 5 to 6 days a week..oh well, maybe the scale isn't moving but I have to be healthier! I was getting worried because there aren't "a lot" of posts on here like there was and I don't want this team to go away..it's home to me! LOL..anyway, glad you all are still around! Sounds like we all got hit with illness recently...it sure has been going around. Keep up the good work everyone!

I'm still here. I've lost 5 lbs since starting, but am having trouble losing the next 5. I haven't been doing as many workouts though (really trying to fix that) since I've been sick a lot, but I'm still doing well with my eating (most weeks). I'm determined to meet my goals so nothing is going to stop me this time.

I'm still here and still the same weight! Argh! I'm still going to the gym 3-4 times per week, walking my dog, watching what I eat, gave up wine for Lent, but the scale isn't budging. :-( I finally went & had my first physical exam in at least five years. All appears good, but will find out what my blood work shows next week. I'm very frustrated!

Now that it's officially been 2 months on SP for everyone in the team, just wondering who's still here and how you're doing?
I'm still here!! February was almost a complete waste. I got sick and I let it keep me down and be an excuse for stuffing my face for WAY too long, but March has been AMAZING so far!! Not one calorie over or exercise missed!
