It feels odd to be replying after my response having completed the second day. I must have been posting somewhere else beceause I have completed the seventh day last Sunday.
I forgot my entry. I will keep my bootcamp format routine, but have joined the 5K Walking challenge which is an entirely new activity for me. I will likely use some of the exercises on my cross-training days, however, At this time I don't believe I will officially join the 28 day challenge. I love the challenges and will likely do more. emoticon

This is my third day on SP, and I have done two of the boot camp workouts so far. Challanging, for someone who hasn't exercised in awhile - but no so much so that I can walk into the office. Thanks!!!

SDC810 & SHELLHILL1 It will pass if you just hang in there. It happened to me also but I kept doing everything right and after a few weeks the scale finally moved and I lost 6 lbs. So keep doing everything right and it will happen to you also and oh! what a feeling. Above and beyond satisfaction. emoticon

SDC810: Maybe you are at a "plateau." Here's 3 articles for identifying and trying to bust through a plateau. Unfortunately that's where I'm at. I've been doing everything right and the scale won't budge for a month, now. Very frustrating and difficult to not want to just chow down on everything in sight. But, I keep plugging along, hoping it will eventually break. Good luck!

I am stuck and don't know what I need to do. I started this program a year ago and lost 4 pounds, slowly, but kept it off. I haven't been able to budge for several months now. I am at 139.5 with a goal of 135. The bootcamp challenge was great and I did more exercise each week than I have in the past. I had to substitute some since I am recovering from carpel tunnel surgery and couldn't put weight on my right hand, but this didn't stop me from doing cardio. I am keeping my daily intake to around 1500 calories and eating a very healthy diet. According to Sparkpeople I should not "diet", so what do I do? emoticon

I haven't posted here since the beginning of bootcamp.
I did everyday and can't believe I finished it. I didn't even realize it was over till today I thought it was over Feb3 whattaya know. I lost 4.5 lbs. and haven't measured yet. I too am fitting into my clothes better so I would think a few inches are gone
I'm going to continue to do bootcamp to see if I can get stronger on the ball. I also have learned that there are somethings I can't do physically no matter how much I want to, but I can always modify the exercise. Congrates to all, maybe I'll see you in another challenge

Congrats to all! Whether you saw results or not, you made progress by doing the bootcamp! Spark on! The workouts are all available as are previous bootcamp workouts, so we can keep this bootcamp fever going!

One of my teams is doing a Diva body Bootcamp starting tomorrow b/c several of us did this bootcamp and didn't want to lose the momentum! We've picked up a few other team members too, so it will be good!

Keep that bootcamp Spark lit! Good luck with the prizes too!

I finished up bootcamp today and posted the challenge blog and took measurements.
I was very happy with results of the boot camp.
I reached my weight loss goal on the 28th of January and that was one of the things I wanted from boot camp.
I lost a total of 3 pounds that is all I needed to lose to hit goal. I did lose 7 inches I am very proud of that, especially with the waist dropping 2.5 inches.
I dropped from wearing size 8 and 10 petites to size 4 and 6 jeans.
I am very pleased with the results from doing all the additional workouts and adding a few more of my own.

So how did everyone else do? Did you post your before and after blog? Can't wait to see your results.

Today's workout done this am. I just got done with 90 minutes of yoga, strength training and aerobics on the wii. I sure do enjoy yoga. I am gaining a lot of balance and my posture is so much better. My core is strong. I loved every minute of boot camp and intend to keep doing the workouts. I don't like the side plank much either but everything else I loved. emoticon

Last day done with mixed emotions...I'm so excited to have completed every day of this bootcamp (except for a couple of days for surgery) and that I have exercised ingrained in my daily routine, but sad to see it come to an end. Great job everyone!! emoticon emoticon emoticon

emoticon to every one in Bootcamp. It's been a lot of fun and made me get into a routine. I'm happier than I've been in a long time too! Maybe we'll see each other at the February challenge? I hope so. I enjoyed reading all of your daily workout comments.

Video: abs DONE!

Challenge: tried on some capris that were too tight. They fit!!! emoticon I also tried on a dress that wasn't in the plus sizes yesterday. As depressing as dressing rooms can be, I was excited that the dress actually fit. It wasn't a good cut for my girlish figure but it fit! That's something. :)

I've loved this challenge! I lost inches and 8.2 pounds. I've tried new things and was FINALLY able to do a side plank. I've seen improvement in my mood and my shape. My husband has even commented that it looks like I've lost a lot of inches. No, I didn't measure. I was too ashamed. Wish I would have now. Oh well.

((HUGS)) I'll miss the challenge but I'm thankful for the folks I met. :)

I hate to see this bootcamp end, but I guess all good things must end. Ithnk I enjoyed the extra challenges as much as the videos. They were fun and exciting and gave me a little surprise to look forward to each day.

I joined the Heart Healthy Challenge and the 28-day Spark book challenge. I thnk I'll start both and see how it goes. Maybe I'll do both or just pick the best fit. I thnk it will be good to mix it up.

Good Luck!

So, this is the end of bootcamp. I really enjoyed the first 3 weeks, and am so disappointed I got sick and wasn't able to do the final week. I still have a cough, although it's better. I hope to get back on track Monday, Feb. 1, with my new plan, based on the schedule and videos we had here in bootcamp. I lost a couple pounds this month, and fit into an older pair of jeans. I know I was getting stronger until this sickness derailed me. I imagine it won't take too long to get back up to snuff though, but I will start again slowly. I will be able to complete today's optional challenge, lol, I needed to do some shopping anyway.

Congratulations to everyone on a great month and great progress!

Whew, had to do 3 bootcamp videoes in 1 day! My Internet went out and I just got it fixed today. Can anyone please tel me what the bonus challenge was yesterday? (Thursday, Day 26) I had read Wednesday's on tue. night, so knew what the bonus challenge was and did it today after I did Day 25. I kept doing my cardio workouts all week and even did strength training in my usual class, but didn't do any videos 'til today! I did my cardio early this AM, but still have to do my daily 1 mile walk. Really feeling tired, but will fit it in! So, I just need the bonus for thursday and I'll be set to end the week! This was quite a workout all month for me!

I did the boot camp video early and am kind of sad that this is the last week. I joined the Heart challenge for February and the Spark book challenge. I need to decide which one to do. I think I am leaning towards the Heart one and hope it is as much fun as this one. I just love the extra challenges. They are fun and something new everyday.

One more day. It has become such a routine for me now, I'm going to continue with different ST videos every morning as well as the cardio after work. I'm still going to avoid hops, squats, and lunges because of my knees.

emoticon I pack my lunch everyday, so to make it a "challenge", I tried to make a sandwich I wouldn't groan about eating (not a fan of sandwiches), and I succeeded! And it made me full.

Every day I feel so much better about myself, but sad this is coming to an end.
