Electrolytes can definitely be lost with excessive sweating.

I've never really intentionally tried to get more sodium....
but,
I do seem to be a person who does best with ~2,000-2,500mg/day.
too much and I swell
too little and my BP drops

I also have a problem with sodium. Mine comes from Cottage Cheese and lots and lots of hot sauce.

My question is... does / will a higher sodium intake make you sweat more?

And the reciprocal.. If you sweat profusely, should you require higher amounts of sodium?

My blood pressure 122/80

Generally the problem with high sodium levels is the corresponding low levels of potassium.

How is your blood pressure?

I've vegetarian. My sodium levels usually run 2000-3000mg/d. My BP is 106/68 - 110/70.

It is coming from cottage cheese, cheese and foods that i cook.

I am very allergic to garlic and onions and strugling in how to flavoure my food.

I am vegetarian so i consume a fair bit of the above mentioned dairy products.

The big defining question is why is your salt intake so high? Are you eating too much processed food? Yes it can hurt your health and defining where it is coming from and rectifying that will take care of your dilemma

I have great difficulty with my salt intake.

All my other nutrients are pretty much bang on where i want them to be except the salt it can go as high as 3500 mg per day.

Will this hurt my health in the long run if everything else is in check and also doing intese cardio and weights ? Or can my body handle this much salt ?
