It hurts when I do a lot of stretching, so I stick to walking, my elliptical and my watp dvds. Its an inch below my belly button, I hope to get some answers at my appointment in April. Just got the appointment packet in the mail today, not much longer. emoticon

That's good - is it helpful if you do crunches to strengthen your abs, or does that make it hurt, or anything? (I had a hysterectomy and the dr was amazed by how quickly I healed, and I told her I do 60-75 crunches every morning - she said that's what does it.) Just wondered if it might help you - but I know it's a different cause, so that's why I wasn't sure if it would be helpful or not.

Thanks, I'm still waiting to see the dr in April to discuss removing mine. As I lose more weight though, I can feel it and see it when I look in the mirror. The dr did say the more I lose weight before surgery the better the healing will be afterwards and less chance of a seroma happening again.

I'm doing well - worst part is trying to wear a bra again, LOL - I'm up to most of a day. I see the dr tomorrow to remove the waterproof dressing, then I'm clear to go!

Hope all goes well with you!

MrMovieMusic, how're you? Anything new?

Good luck! (Might just mean a different cocktail of meds or something?)

Thanks for your response! I have been on HIV meds for years and have an undetectable viral load for almost seven years now. Why my Hep C is acting up now I have no clue. I'll see my dr at the end of this month and I hope he has something useful to tell me!!!

Oh Motinurse, I'm so sorry to hear that - what a mess!

My husband also is Hep C positive, but the HIV meds seem to have made his Hep C viral load virtually non-existent. I believe the anti-viral meds work on both - or at least his combo seems to. (He also has an incredibly strong constitution - his body hides infection and disease really well!)

Are you on HIV meds? Is it helping? Does your dr have any recommendations?

Wishing you good luck!!!

Hi guys. haven't been on in quite a while. life has been the proverbial whirlwind. Had a heart attack and quadruple by pass. Had a bad reaction to the pneumonia vaccine, which triggered severe fibromyalgia and some kind of arthritis in my hands and feet. and to top it all off, found out emoticon emoticon my hepatitis viral load is very high. Does anyone else have Hep C too. And has anyone done the treatment? Don't know yet if I'll have to do it, but i'm pretty scared!! Any info would be great;y appreciated. Take care everyone

Good luck with that (and I'm sure no one can see anything from the outside, right?) - and I'll let you know what the dr says this afternoon.

Hope your appointment goes well , my dr is going to call me when she reviews the ultrasound picture and can tell me what it is. It has made me very self conscious of my stomach area. Other than that I have my 2nd mod exam this coming monday.

No problem. Not sure where everyone else went, I know Kelly is still adjusting to moving halfway across the US.

We're heading out to Australia - living our dream of early retirement to explore the world. It's a little stressful trying to figure out how to get DH's meds everywhere, but we're working on that part of it. Having fun otherwise!

Some of us check in periodically - our leader moved and is doing all that adjusting that a major move entails, and I don't know what's going on with other people.

Anything in particular you need to share? Questions? I'm in the middle of New Zealand, and I'm probably 18 hours ahead of where you are - but I'm online normally once or twice a day, so ask away.

I see we no longer have a team leader, but are there still members here? Of all the Spark Teams this is the only one I can be completely open with.
