I'm going to have to bow out of the last 1/2 of the month. I'm having trouble keeping up with all my tracking and keep forgetting to get over here! I'll keep trying for those 10-a-day, though!

Eat real food...not too much.

I'm in!

My goal is to eat veges BEFORE I eat anything else at each meal. I generally eat about 5x a day, so 10 sounds like a decent goal. I'll also focus on the color range. Good info!

Setting up a daily check-in:
1. 8v; 4f = 12
2. 5v; 3f = 8
3. 3v; 2f = hanging my head in freggie shame.
4. 9v; 1f = 10; redemption
5. 5v; 2f = 7
6. 4v; 3f= 7
7. 3v; 3.5 f = 6.5 sigh...I need to find some vege motivation
8. 3.5v; 4 f = 7.5
9. 8v; 1f = 9
10. 8v; 2f = 10
11. 6
12. 7
13. 5
14. 6

Haha! No, 10 I could handle. It was 14 or so serves a day that I couldn't figure out. So to start Feb, my # serves is.......FOURTEEN! AHAHAHAHAHA!!

PS: Excellent point about the colour range. I think I've covered the lot today.

Gee BJ ...didn't you used to think I was nuts eating so much veg!

I don't think I need to count my veg ...as basically that's all I am eating - tons of veg, a few fruit and beans, and brown rice or potatoes.

My aim in Feb is to try get in all the colours every day, and to eat my greens every day.

To cover all nutrient bases it's important to eat green, yellow/orange and red veg. Try log your food on http://cronometer.com/ and see for yourself. No supplements required if you eat a wide range of veg!
