I think what people are talking about as far as the Detox is Dr. Ian Smith (Celebrity Fit club and 50 million pound challenge) book called Fat Smash Diet. the first nine days is called the Detox Phase where you only eat fruits & Veggies with a couple of other exceptions. Lots of people are trying it. I love meat and bread too much to go through with it. I have been able to limit myself to fruits & veggies through the day and eat what I want for dinner.

I just finished a fast/detox cleaning. What I learned is that when you fast you are giving your body a rest and you are cleaning out your system. It involves juicing. You don't go to the bathroom much so you have to use a lemon juice enema, it is also an excellent way to clean your colon. if you want you can also use the master cleaner while on the fast. You can drink this during the day. It cleans out your liver/gallbadder. eating raw foods for two weeks after you have finish the fast. If you choose to do a fast, one meal of salad, as big as you want around 3pm and during the day you can juice,have teas, and water.there are some good websites. I looked at before I started my fast. There is also a book called"Prescription for Nutritional healing" which also helped What I like about the book in the it's practical and covers mostly all aliments using vitamins,minerals,herbs and food supplements. Hi Everybody, I am not an expert on the topic, but where i'm from here in the Virgin Islands some people that I know use the colon cleanse. I've tried it and it works, well for me it did. I had to cut back on most of eating everything and increase my fruits and veggies. You don't stop eating real food you just cut back and eat more fruits and veggies while taking the colon cleanse. It cleans you and make you feel so much better. The only thing is that you visit the bathroom a little more often than usual. The increase in fiber from the fruits and veggies gives you that extra bm along with the colon cleanse. I only do it once in a while because of my job. I'm a customer service worker and can't be running to the bathroom too often if you know what I mean. I also work around food. The colon cleanse rids your body of toxins and decaying fecal matter that can build up in your colon, leading to serious health problems. Colon cleansing cleans your intestinal tract, helping to relieve constipation, bloating and water retention and ease congested bowels. From what I remember Juelzz...this one you can't have dairy or red meat. You eat a grapefruit half with every meal. You can only have water, coffee or tea to drink and it does have lots and lots of veggies and fruit.
Well, the one I've been reading about you cant have alcohol, chocolate, diary or meat.....So that's it for me. Most of the food is raw. You have to add 2-4 tablespoons of Vitamineral Grren to juices or smoothies. I'm trying to find someone crazy enough to try it with me. Any takers?

I've heard about it, but I think there are several variations out there. I would be interested in trying something to re-start my metabolism and drop some lbs quickly. It's just the after effects of keeping them off that i worry about. What do you know about the detox diet. Please let me know.
