today is one of those I would never get the fridge open. Did not realize my FB was not charged and after walking for 5 hours found out there were ZERO steps on it. So had to charge it for a while and start over

also wonder if you did not make your 10K steps one day, when the clock switches to midnight and you start over again, does your fridge unlock

Everybody tells me that they would love to knit, but they don't have time. I look at people's lives and I can see opportunity and time for knitting all over the place. The time spent riding the bus each day? That's a pair of socks over a month. Waiting in line? Mittens. Watching TV? Buckets of wasted time that could be an exquisite lace shawl. ~Stephanie Pearl-McPhee, At Knit's End: Meditations for Women Who Knit Too Much

Ha!

My children *would* revolt! There are days when my Fitbit doesn't reach 10K.

My children would expire if the fridge was locked until I got 10K because sometimes that doesn't happen until after 10pm.

I can't even imagine how a person would do that! Those kind of computer skills are both impressive and a bit scary.

That could provide some interesting motivation.

saw this on facebook this morning

We've heard a lot of great stories from Fitbitters who "hacked" their tracker, making it so that the fridge locks if they don't get to 10k steps, or their Wi-Fi won't work until they get there! If you've come up with your own hack, a reporter would love to talk to you. Just let us know what you did by emailing us at welovefitbit@fitbit.com
