Blank Canvas,

I think the place to go for these technical questions is: http://www.sparkpeople.com/myspark/message
board_topics.asp?imboard=5

That is the Message Board for Site/Technical Support

Welcome to the site, and DON'T YOU JUST LOVE THE FITBIT???

Bear with me, I'm confused, I just started SP yesterday...I wear a fitbit and synced it..but do I also log in a particular exercise? I started Focus T25 today but don't know where/under what category/or even if I log it?

Well, my preferred nutrition-entry site is LoseIt.com.

Loseit's nutrition data DOES sync over to Fitbit, but only the Fitbit fitness data syncs over to SP.

But too bad I can't get the LoseIt data to also tranfer into SP!!!

I am far too lazy to enter ANYTHING twice!

I humbly disagree. Food entered on the Fitbit site does not sync to the SP site. It is a one way sync. SP to Fitbit.

Exercise is also a one way sync from the Fitbit site to SP. It does not travel from SP to Fitbit.

when you enter your food on SP, it syncs over to FB. and vice versa. Therefore if you are going to do that, choose one or the other but not both as their calories are different. Most prefer to use only SP's food count and let it sync over to fb.

yes the points coming over from fb are counted. anything manually entered on the fitbit site will not sync over.

Everybody tells me that they would love to knit, but they don't have time. I look at people's lives and I can see opportunity and time for knitting all over the place. Those are good questions to ask the site administrator. Interesting questions.

I synced my fitbit One to SP, and my fitbit fitness data is correctly showing up at SP.

I have two questions:

Does SP also pick the food entered at the FItbit site? Or just the activity data?

I prefer entering nutrition at loseit.com, and I have synced the two, so that food entered at the loseit.com site shows on on my fitbit web page. DOES THIS ALSO get transferred to SP???

ALso I know we get "points" for entering our fitness data every day. Do the points also apply when the data is synced in from the fitbit, rather than being manually entered?
