I got my fitbit in December of 2012 and since then I have had to reinstall the fitbit connection about 6 times. this is the message that I get. .....
"Oh no! We found a problem! Background sync is not running on your computer. To continue, you'll need to reinstall Fitbit Connect." then there is a link to reinstall it.
I've contacted Fitbit and I'm waiting for a reply. But I was wondering if anybody else is having the same problem. I'm starting to wonder if my pc is deleting it. I use a laptop and I don't turn it off at night, so I'm also wondering if that could be cause some problems.
It's not a big deal to have to reinstall it ... just frustrating.
