Just wondering if you have the Zip. I tried a Zip and it gave a lot more Very active, but less fairly and light. May have been that it was new to me, but it was a big difference.

I think the device learns about you and gets more stingy with VAMs as time goes on. I do not always get VAM's when I walk briskly. I like Proud GrandMa's suggestion... another is you could try to get your mile time faster. See how far you can make it in x amount of time.

It doesn't seem difficult to keep a fast enough pace to be very active on my walks. I wish there was a super active to push me into spurts of jogging or powerwalking.
