Very timely. I just received my Fitbit yesterday & noticed that this morning. I was wondering about it. Thanks for answering my question before I posted it.

It shows calories burned even when not worn as it is prorating your BMR hour by hour.

unlike the zip the ultra and one shows your sleep patternsm LANNIEMANUEL, if your sleep activity is low, calories burned is going to be lower also

stress and other medical conditions are going to cause lower calories burned I notice that as one of my factors when my thryoid meds need to be changed as I get insomnia more and just plain stressed out

Your Zip is providing you with the amount of calories you burned while sleeping. That is why this device is awesome. It provides you with a full picture of just how active (or inactive) you are throughout the day.

Hi,
I am wondering does anyone know why my fitibt zip always have at east 400+ calories tracked when I wake up in the morning? I have a fitbit zip and I take it off at night before I lay down, usually before midnight. Anyway, when I wake in the morning everything is zeroed ( i.e miles and steps) out except the calories burned. It is really discouraging and nerve wrecking at times!! Anyone know why it does this??

Alhamdulillah
