Connect to any computer with Fitbit’s wireless USB dongle (included). Sync occurs automatically when your tracker sits within 20 feet of a dongle.
The One™ automatically syncs your data to PCs, Macs, the iPhone 4S, 5, the 3rd generation iPad, iPod touch, and select Android phones. All you need to do is sign up for your free account on Fitbit.com and registeryour device (which you can also do via select smartphones). After that, voilà. Your stats will sync on their own, giving you real-time access to all that outstanding data on your Fitbit dashboard.
I copied and pasted this infor from the FITBIT website. To sync to a computer, you need to have the doggle. To sync elsewhere, you need a smart phone or tablet with the Fitbit App. Hope this helps.
I think only the one can sync from anywhere other than the computer that you have the dongle connected to. I have the ultra and need to be near my computer to get the lastest info, then it goes from there to my iPod. Pam

thought it is the ones and zips since they are on batteries that sync over the information to your phone or another computer
Everybody tells me that they would love to knit, but they don't have time. I look at people's lives and I can see opportunity and time for knitting all over the place. The time spent riding the bus each day? That's a pair of socks over a month. Waiting in line? Mittens. Watching TV? Buckets of wasted time that could be an exquisite lace shawl. ~Stephanie Pearl-McPhee, At Knit's End: Meditations for Women Who Knit Too Much
At the expense of looking dumb (you'd think by now I'd be use to it), but did I see where it said somewhere to connect from anywhere to log in steps, etc.? How can or does that work when you are given one driver to put into USB port??? Like I am assuming if you go to library will it download from there your steps or does it mean that you can manually put in steps??? I am really confused
People take different roads seeking fulfillment and happiness. Just because they're not on your road doesn't mean they've gotten lost
