My calorie range is 1900 to 2250 and I am in maintenance. Some days I eat more and others I eat less and it seems to be balancing itself out.

My calorie range from spark people is 1200 to 1550 and fitbit gives me 1800 to 1900 per day to eat but I try to stay within 1200.

I go by my fitbit. When I am inactive SP and FB agree and I am at a 1000 calorie deficit a day. If I exercise I eat more according to my FB since I am still at the 1000 calorie deficit.

Too many. I am always over my upper limit of 1,850 per day. Thankfully, I am active and exercise. But, not achieving my weight goal because of my excess calories.

I eat 1800-2300 a day. That's over the recommended but I'm still easily fitting in size 6 so, I'm not too bothered (and around 24% body fat). I absolutely know that I'd be leaner if I didn't eat as much but there's the facts!

EDIT: I prefer myfitnesspal for nutrition tracking

I don't necessarily pay a lot of attention to the nutrition stuff on Fitbit... but I do on Sparkpeople. I stay around 1200 calories per day with some less and very rarely one that is more (contemplating today's Easter dinner, that may be on the higher end of the range.)

Sometimes it is very confusing. I just make sure I log all my activity at the gym separately from my FB because the little bugger says I don't do anything at the gym...

I think I'm underestimating what I eat. FB said I had a 20000 calorie deficit last month but I have not lost weight!! I keep increasing my activity so I think my problem is entering my food. It's discouraging. 3500 calories is a pound. I just want to lose 1 pound a week, steadily!

Fitbit says I burn 2200-2300 a day but I eat 1800-2000 a day and my weight is steady, so I think my fitbit is overestimating.

I'm testing things right now. SP says I should eat 1200-1400 a day. When I excercise a lot during the day, FB days I can eat up to 1700. When this happens, I'm eating 1500-1600. My goal is to lose 1lb a week. I kind of like going this route because I feel less restricted in what I eat. However, if I notice that I plateau, I will go back to eating 1200-1400 per day.

I am in the 1100 to 1400 calorie range. I usually hang in the 1100 end of the range. I have lost 76 pounds so far, but still have some distance to go to get to my goal. I also have a mobility impairment, so I get about 4000 steps in per day, but I swim and do strength training several times a week. I just wish my Fitbit was waterproof so it could record the laps I swim.

I usually eat around 1500-1650. I'm not trying to lose weight. SP says my BMR is 1350 and FB says I usually burn around 400 calories( with at least 10,000 steps) and my weight doesn't change much so I guess it's pretty close. Pam

I never eat back my calories otherwise I'd never lose weight! lol! Since I'm starting over trying to lose a massive regain (steroids), I'm eating between 1100-1400 calories a day. When I exercise, I eat the latter.

each day is different. some days you will burn a lot of calories due to your activities and others you will burn less

best way to suggest you do this is put your food on SP and let it sync over to FB (don't enter food eaten on FB or you could r duplicate both ) For me it is between 1600 and 2300 caloires per day. the calories synced over vs your daily activity will then be calcuated there and if you are taking in to much food but not enough activity FB will note it whereas if you are extremely active, with your foods eaten from SP fitbit might suggest a few extra calories to keep your body going

Everybody tells me that they would love to knit, but they don't have time. I look at people's lives and I can see opportunity and time for knitting all over the place. The time spent riding the bus each day? That's a pair of socks over a month. Waiting in line? Mittens. Watching TV? Buckets of wasted time that could be an exquisite lace shawl. ~Stephanie Pearl-McPhee, At Knit's End: Meditations for Women Who Knit Too Much

If the Fitbit tells you what you burn each day do eat to that number minus say 500 or 1000 or do you still eat to the same # each day and just set a calorie burning goal or ???
