I am so happy, I finally got over 10000 steps today. Don't know if it will happen every day or not but at least I got there! Hopefully, tomorrow I will be able to figer out some kind of a route that I can walk each day. My FitBit Zip is a definite help as I can keep track of where I'm at each day as often as I want. -Carol
I wear mine in my pocket. When I've tried on my waistband or bra, I've had a problem with it coming off and I actually lost my Fitbit Ultra that way. I ended up buying a Fitbit One to replace it. I find myself looking for ways to increase my steps to get up to the 10,000 steps. The other day I was Walmart trying to get my tire fixed (I ended up having to replace it). I used that time to walk around the perimeter inside which helped get my steps up.

DO NOT WEAR IT ON YOUR SOCK! I am sorry to be a broken record, but read Fitbit 101 to see proper placement.. bra.. waist..high pocket anywhere ON TORSO!
Congrats on getting your steps up! It's a very motivating device, I am especially finding the friends rankings on Fitbit are motivating me! (I can only hope I am not competing with people wearing it on their arms or legs.. you get extra activity there.. that's why that is meant for sleep only, so it picks up those minor movements)
You can do it Carol, have faith. Put some music on and think pleasant thoughts and before you know it you have gone further than you ever thought you would. It certainly happened to me once, so I have just kept it up. Laura
Everybody tells me that they would love to knit, but they don't have time. I look at people's lives and I can see opportunity and time for knitting all over the place. The time spent riding the bus each day? That's a pair of socks over a month. Waiting in line? Mittens. Watching TV? Buckets of wasted time that could be an exquisite lace shawl. ~Stephanie Pearl-McPhee, At Knit's End: Meditations for Women Who Knit Too Much A true friend reaches for your hand but touches your hea
