I just love the fitbit support. I just got word back from them regarding my broken ultra. they're sending me a new One today. wish I did the same with my hubby's ultra when it slid off his sleeve and got chewed on by the neighbors dogs! at least we will both have the new Ones now. YaY for Fitbit!
that's great to know. I emailed fitbit yesterday with a copy of my invoice about my Ultra that just broke (casing). The warranty ended the same week it broke. they responded by early morning the next day and just asked me to upload a picture of of with a piece of paper with my name and claim number, then they'll decide it they'll cover it with the warranty. I told them if the warranty lapsed, I still want it fixed even if it means me paying and to send a quote. I hope they will fix it. this thread was encouraging to hear.
In the meantime, I've ordered the One and it came today. If the Ultra get fixed, I'll sell it on ebay and upgrade my hubby to the the One. He likes the clip design much better and we're both thrilled them being sweat/rain/splash proof. Looking forward to trying out the vibrating alarm.
You've all had better luck with their customer service than I did. I bought the Fitbit One on February 26th & haven't received it yet. Tried to track it through USPS but they have no information after March 4th. I asked Fitbit for help & their response was that once it was shipped they couldn't help track the shipment, I would have to go through the post office.

Their customer service was always great, just a bit slow
Everybody tells me that they would love to knit, but they don't have time. I look at people's lives and I can see opportunity and time for knitting all over the place. The time spent riding the bus each day? That's a pair of socks over a month. Waiting in line? Mittens. Watching TV? Just wanted to say that they responded to my message about a cracked Fitbit Ultra almost immediately. Less than 15 minutes. I got a new Fitbit One in the mail in about 5 days! Great service...better than I expected.
On a side note. My winter exercise tends to be yoga and that just doesn't read well on the Fitbit. Makes it look like I'm a serious couch potato most days. Oh well. Spring is almost here and I am ready with a new pair of walking shoes. Its over 50 here today, but a bit windy. Might have to try for a short walk.
