Thanks so much, NYHARLEYHUN! When I tried holding it for 10 seconds mine went to sleep mode too. But just clicking through the cycle 3 times fixed it!! I wish I knew what triggers it in the first place?? I've never figured that out!!

I also have this issue when I have to resync my fitbit. But when I hold the button down for 10 seconds it just starts the sleep/activity timer?? Am I doing something wrong??
Someone else said to just keep repeateldy press the button to cycle through all the stats for 4-5 times and it does go away that way.

you are so very welcome. Glad it worked

Everybody tells me that they would love to knit, but they don't have time. I look at people's lives and I can see opportunity and time for knitting all over the place. The time spent riding the bus each day? That's a pair of socks over a month. Waiting in line? Mittens. Watching TV? Buckets of wasted time that could be an exquisite lace shawl. ~Stephanie Pearl-McPhee, At Knit's End: Meditations for Women Who Knit Too Much

First, I apologize if this topic was already covered. I spent 15 minutes trying to see if such a topic existed, then decided to post this.

I have the FitBit Ultra. Sometimes when I press the button I will see a number and a symbol, for example 12660 and the feet (for my steps). But sometimes my fitbit gets into a mode where I first see "STEP" and the feet, then it changes to the number and the feet. It seems to go back and forth between these two modes with no action on my part. I just want it to be in the number & symbol mode, not this 2-part mode.

Can anyone help???
