YEAH so glad you got it figured out It is usually something so simple

Enjoy it

Everybody tells me that they would love to knit, but they don't have time. I look at people's lives and I can see opportunity and time for knitting all over the place. The time spent riding the bus each day? That's a pair of socks over a month. Waiting in line? Mittens. Watching TV? Buckets of wasted time that could be an exquisite lace shawl. ~Stephanie Pearl-McPhee, At Knit's End: Meditations for Women Who Knit Too Much

Well the problem was my stupidity. I never heard back from customer service, but when I uninstalled and went to reinstall again I realized that when I looked at the picture of the "dongle" I had the wireless charging dongle plugged in and not the sync dongle. I when I put in the correct item in the USB I had not problem downloading the software. All is good. Tomorrow will be the first day I use if for the full day.

Of note: The difference between the ONE and the ULTRA is the ONE is supposed to be waterproof. We will see. All the others are water resistant including the soon to be released flex.

forgot it was the one. it would seem somewhere along the way,the one would need to be reset especially if the battery was not recharged due to being away from your computer for a while

no it doesn't sound silly at all. I did not know how to do that with the one. There is dongle not exactly the same set up as the Ultra charging station. There are no instructions for resting with the one and I am not sure how to do it.

sounds silly but have you put it on the charging station and tried resetting it?

I have been sick anyway for 2 weeks so I when my Ultra stopped working it was not biggie. I as just hoping that the setup wasn't going to be a problem. Once I get it working I know it will be ok. No worries right now.

I am so sorry. One thing is that they do answer emails on weekends so hopefully you will hear back tomorrow

I emailed them as requested and got the canned response after waiting 2 days. I did as instructed and replied back yesterday within 45 mins that the issues was not resolved and have not heard back. I also told them that this was a replacement fitibit and I had similar trouble setting up the Ultra. I love their products but not their customer service. Still waiting to get a reply back from them. emoticon

Sorry, but Fitbit has requested that we remove posts with any phone numbers for them. They ask that people email their help desk and from there they send it to the appropriate person to help you find a solution.

Thanks for your cooperation!

it's up to SP and fitbit If Fitbit wanted their phone number down for this they would have posted it on their site. I usually get answers within 24 hours from them, a lot of times sooner. when they were selling a lot of units after linking up with SP that did cause a lot of problems in response time

Good to know but I still will call if I have a problem and wait for an answer or return call.
I sent them an email to the help desk and it took 5 days for them to reply. It was good they replied but by then it was to late.
I hope this number won't be deleted as this is thier customer service number and not to a particular person.

SP deleted the message with the phone number at the request of the company because the person who originally gave it out had it going to a specific person at the company and also they want their correspondence with the company on customer services issues going through their email UNLESS they specifially asked you to call them on a number they would give out

I'm sorry it's not working that really sucks...once I got mine and uninstalled the previous version I had no problem getting the one installed...I hope that when the Flex comes out I don't have any problems like this with that one

It is funny you should mention this USA as I had asked them when they told me they would send me a ONE I asked them if I need to uninstall my soft where from the Ultra and they said no, but I think you have a good suggestion. I will give it a try tomorrow. Have a good night.

I have to set up mine soon, and was dreading an issue like what you are saying

perhaps you need to remove the ultra software first, then reinstall with the software for the one

customer service is most likely tired of me, Tried to get my aria set up and finally we finally it might be defective since I did everything they told me several times

I am an existing fitbit user and just got my fitbit one as a replacement for the Ultra. I tried to set up the one as an existing user and it is continuing to say that the doggle is not connected to my computer when it is and the fitbit is only an inch or so away for the doggle. Any suggestions before I attempt to contact the helpless desk. (I didn't have a pleasant experience with them my last time so I am rushing to contact them again).
