great story

Everybody tells me that they would love to knit, but they don't have time. I look at people's lives and I can see opportunity and time for knitting all over the place. The time spent riding the bus each day? That's a pair of socks over a month. Waiting in line? Mittens. Watching TV? Buckets of wasted time that could be an exquisite lace shawl. ~Stephanie Pearl-McPhee, At Knit's End: Meditations for Women Who Knit Too Much

My friend posted it on her Spark blog. The person (Liz) saw her ad on Craigslist, e-mailed my friend who emailed Liz back, then they met and Liz got her FitBit back. She offered to pay my friend but my friend said no. In the end she accepted a iTunes card that Liz didn't want (she didn't use them any more). So it all ended well. And my friend now has a NEW friend also! emoticon

If I lost mine I would change the chatter message (Vicki!) to my phone #. Also, I would post on the "general" forum at Fitbit I've seen fitbit lost and found posts there, I would hope that everyone would check there.. the problem is that the finder needs to know or think to do that!!

I was curious about that also. would be good to know heaven forbid one of us lost one and it was found

wonder also if we did loose one, if there is a thread on Fitbit page where we could post that information in case it was found

You can put your phone # on the Ultra after you lose it.. (as the greeting) Can you do that with a One? I would think they'd check the Fitbit forum too, hope they get it back!
And also, was it out of the pocket? I don't have a One and am worried it's even easier to lose.. never lost my Ultra!

by contacting them directly on fitbit they will know it's not lost You could also contact the fit bit customer service tell them you have it and the person's user name and they can contact them since they have the address on file This person might have been visiting from out of town and just giving up hope that it is still around

If after spending 100 on a fitbit, if I lost mine and some one who knew what it was looked at my user name and tried to contact me through the site, I would be very much grateful

My friend who found it didn't want me to post the name on it. That's how she will make sure anyone that calls about is the correct owner. She doesn't have access to the FitBit site, but I did post it over there too. I even looked for the person over there but didn't have any luck finding her/him.

can you tell the Username so that perhaps you can go on to the Fitbit page and try to contact the owner that way

Sure you have also posted on the fit bit page one was found

A friend from another Team found a FitBit One yesterday while out walking. She found it in the Harvard Square area of Boston. She's posted it in the Lost and Found section of Craigslist so if it's yours or you know who's it is, check there to contact her. emoticon
