My Fitbit One is on it's way right now and I was going to refuse it and preorder the Flex.

Concerning syncing with android: They are beta testing the One and the Zip with limited android devices.

I currently have the Ultra. Maybe by the time I'm ready to upgrade, they'll have android sync worked out. :)

I'm sticking to my One. Since it doesn't sync (yet..but I hope it does one day!) with my Android phone, I want the display. I just spent 8 hrs out and about with hubby, and we were able to check our steps (hubby has a One too) throughout the day. Plus I really like that I can just clip the One to my bra and go!

I am happy with my One. To me the flex is a half step device somewhere between the zip and the One as far as functionality, but is just as expensive as the One.
I am in agreement with most everyone else; I want a display and an altimeter. And according to the site, the flex isn't waterproof, just water resistant. I just got my One a month or so ago and I think I will wait to buy a new device for a while. By the time I am ready for a replacement, there undoubtedly will be a new version of the One out that has better features than anything they have come out with thus far.
What I would like to see is a device with all the features the one currently has, that syncs with android, is waterproof, and has different case options. I like the idea of being able to switch from a pocket clip to a wristband or even to an armband. And I want some color options. (I am a purple girl after all!) Maybe they could even figure out how integrate a heart rate monitor.
Oh yes. . . . I WANT IT ALL! emoticon

I missed the stairs thing. That's important to me (we don't have stairs but I live in the Ozark mountains). Some days, I may get fewer steps but if it shows 28 floors, then YES. I got in some movement :)

I think the light tells you how you are doing with goals( like the flower on the ultra) but it doesn't have a read out of numbers. Pam

I do not think I would want it if you can not see your stats on it..but I read that there is a light on it and so am not sure that is the case. If you can read stats on it without going to the computer then I am positively getting it....if not no.

I like the way it looks, but I just bought a Zip and a One. I want to count stairs/hills. I must have to readout too. I read enough comments here to stick with not buying this item too.
But I am tempted.

No one here has mentioned that is does not count stairs!
Like Paul, I'd like to be able to switch...like for running.. and I mentioned that on the Fitbit site. However, I probably wouldn't wear it for running, because I live in a hilly area and like all the floors I get when I walk or run outside!
I also really don't like the lack of a readout.

I agree with taking it anywhere because part of my problem is once I hit the shower I take it off and then go to bed without thinking to put it back on and then don't think about it until mid day the next day and that sucks

If I can ware flex while I am swimming, I may consider like it. Is it completely water proof?
But like Pam said, it does not have read out. So I don't know, if I like it. Why can they make something like G-shock watch, something with design and colorful and you can take it almost anywhere. Love to see those improvements.

I got an email this morning about this and just sat down to go over it and I like what I see and will definitely get this...I can't wait to get this one....I love bands instead of clip on and pockets I've had mine almost three weeks and don't always remember to wear it...so I have about 4 days with no activity....well if I had the band I wouldn't have this problem I think....I can't wait to get it

This appeals to me more than the One BUT I had the Up (much maligned and well-deserved, from a different co) which looks a lot like it and that makes me skittish.

The #1 thing I don't like about the One is 'water resistant' not waterproof. I'd LOVE to not worry at all. Also, I'm constantly moving my Ultra around my person and it has popped off my clothing (always in a bathroom, so it hits ICKY floor). I hate bangle bracelets but UGH! Why isn't everything perfect? :)

Seriously, if the ONe were waterPROOF -- and thinner IN ITS CLIP (a coworker has one), I'd be happy. It's thin but not if I'm going to be wearing it. emoticon

I like my ultra and will eventually upgrade to the one( for my iPod). I don't like the flex because it doesn't have a readout. You need a computer or device to see how many steps etc. Pam

Interesting. Wouldn't it be a nice feature if they allowed both gadgets to synch to one account. Then you could choose your FB based on activity. E.G. sometimes I run and don't have any pockets (I prefer pocket to the clip).

I just took a good look at it. As many good features it has, especially the silent alarm, it is not something that appeals to me only because when you go somewhere nice, it does not blend in with your outfits. at least the others can be worn discreetly
