The flex hasn't been released yet. May 1 is the target date. The FB site says :

"Flex Wireless
Activity + Sleep Wristband

Tracks steps, distance, calories burned, active minutes, hours slept and quality of sleep.
Includes tracker, wristband, charging cable and wireless sync dongle.
Pre-order has been sold-out. Please select Notify Me to receive an e-mail when Flex is available."
(Pre-order is available on Amazon, but right.. no floor counting..)

Just double checking if any one has the flex and that there is no altimeter on it right?

My bf is going to get a fit bit and he was looking at the flex but he is going up and down ladders all day for work. so he wouldn't get the stairs climbed...

tough choice now. Not sure I want to wear it on my wrist all the time, but I could deal. :-)

thanks for the info. I will be sticking with my Ultra until it dies and then probably order a One. I do not own a smartphone (and probably won't for years to come) so I don't need all that extra headache of which product will it snyc with or not. I prefer to wear mine on my waistband and not have to worry about something else on my wrist.

Same here...I'm sticking with my new One. The only downside to the One is the whole Android syncing thing. But I bought a second BT dongle for it and use it on my PC at work. I'm still hoping to at some point in time, sync with my Evo 4g. And the Flex only syncs with select Android devices, the Samsung Galaxy S III and the Note II.

Meh. I like the fact that it is designed to sync with android; that is the one thing I wish they would fix with the one. However, the flex doesn't have a display or an altimeter. Also, one of the reasons I chose the One is because of how discrete it is. I don't think I would like wearing my tracker on my wrist. It looks to me to have less features but costs just as much as the One.I think I'll stick with my Fitbit One.

Interesting! But no altimeter, and no display.. I think I'll stick with my Ultra and get a One when it dies..but thanks for the heads up!

I also agree that I wouldn't want to wear on my wrist all the time. I wonder how they did that anyway..it means it's not the same as the others; measures differently n some way. (Wearing the Ultra or One on the wrist is only done at night since it is too sensitive there for normal use. You can move you arms about and get a lot of activity.)
