My favorite was 35lb but I'm no longer allowed any overhead work and only 10lb per hand. That said, my PT LOVES them for everybody, depending on where/ how. I hate that they're so small BUT it allows for great CARDIO, so I've got that going for me!
yikes, that's awful! Kettleballs would be what would kill me.. I have a condition of the chest that causes pain (costocondritis) on the right side, and I can't use that arm so much. But it's been better lately, hoping it never flares up again! Kettleballs would do it..

Yup. They tried to get me to stop a couple of years ago. I stopped for about a year (after 26 years of running -- never impressive amounts, just 3-12 mi a week for 'fun'). I began again and then things went askew. I've blogged about it (a lot). Short story: I'm not even supposed to WALK for fitness. I have major spine issues. I have spurs and 4 herniations poking into my spinal cord and the vertebrae are crumbling. It's chronic. Even if I have the cadaver bones replacement thing, it'll just do it again.
I can do other stuff, just not running/ walking for fitness! If I weren't in lupus flare, I'd be swinging kettlebells (on weight restriction now, too).
I never did either, Lily, until I started participating in Raul's "weekly goals" thread. Our week runs Sunday through Saturday so I have to adjust what's showing on Sunday morning. A little plug for the goal thread.. it's quite motivating!

I'm not sure how it is a bug.. maybe I am not understanding your issue.. but yes each morning you are going to see a drop from the night before, because it's adding in that day and deducting a full one from a week ago, As the last poster stated, you can "slide" the data. Just click on the arrow next to the week's dates, and see the week you want. In the morning it will only be showing 6 days plus the fractional day you are on, until you slide it to show the week ending the day before. Again. not sure where the bug is!
If I'm not mistaken, the FitBit week "slides" so it is always looking at the most recent seven days of activity, including today. If they're calling that a bug, then they need to fix it, but the data is still all there.
You can adjust which seven days you're looking at by clicking the button that says "Today" and selecting the date range you want to see.
Again, be aware that the calendar they show you "slides" - the first day shown isn't always Sunday or Monday like a normal calendar.
My ticker reminds me that activity, fitness and good health are a gift I'm giving myself. How generous will I choose to be this month?

Thanks for the replies guys, I know what you mean about the new week setting up on a Sunday, but I've had the same problem again today. Contacted Fitbit and they say that they are aware of the problem and have people working on it. Good news but does not help me on my challenge board. Still not much more I can do I don't think other than sit tight and keep mailing fitbit each day I loose my step count.
Sounds like you got your answer but one other thing to check is to be sure you're set on the right time zone because it can flip from one day to the next at midnight on the right zone or will change at another hour if you have it set for a different time zone.

Were you looking at weekly? It sounds like the weekly total changed, the new day has less steps than the day a week ago. (This happens to me on Sunday mornings when the week shown is Mon to Sun, last night you saw Sun thru Saturday)

Hi, has anyone lost step counts over night? Last night before I turned off my computer I had over 100,000 steps, this morning I'm back down to 88,000. Is there something wrong with my device? should I get in touch with them or should I just accept and continue? What do you think? Linda
