I read a couple online reviews of the Aria saying they had trouble because of the distance from the bathroom to the router. I only worry because I have an old brick house. I currently get 2 bars of wifi on my phone in the spot where my scale sits (where I plan on putting the new one also) but the two would be diagonally across the house from each other.

LOL..we're loving our Aria. However...hubby's been weighing himself everyday and when he does he "taps" the scale when his initials come up, thinking he's telling it to post to his FitBit page. It's been posting to MINE instead! Talk about panic when I saw the weight number on my page! I know I've I been gaining some but not THAT much! We fixed it this morning, he won't be doing THAT again. emoticon

I just got my Aria. Hubby got it for my B Day/Anniversary on Friday of last week. We both love it already! It took me about 20 mins to set up both of us on it. I used our laptop. I haven't tried to connect to my phone yet, or my tablet.

You do need to set it up using a PC / laptop with a wireless card in. I could not setup using my PC, as no wireless card, but worked instantly on my laptop.

Earlier this year there was a thread on this Some had to bring the scale near to the computers to do the set up. Believe the average set up time i have heard is about 1-2 hours depending on your computer and wi fi set up

try also doing to the fitbit website for suggestions there on setting it up. good luck. Aria is on my wish list

Everybody tells me that they would love to knit, but they don't have time. I look at people's lives and I can see opportunity and time for knitting all over the place. The time spent riding the bus each day? That's a pair of socks over a month. Waiting in line? Mittens. Watching TV? Buckets of wasted time that could be an exquisite lace shawl. ~Stephanie Pearl-McPhee, At Knit's End: Meditations for Women Who Knit Too Much
