Yeah, its over a year old sadly, and it's the "classic" edition anyway, which was from prior to the Ultra.

I did get them to send me a replacement wristband & belt holster/clip once before though. They were really nice about that part!

They give replacements on models that are under warranty (1 year) and based on the reason for the problem. They ask for proof of purchase, the reason for the problem, and pictures. In the case of dropping it, I'm not sure that would be covered, but if your FB is under a year old, contact them.

CHIBITROWA I've read about other Spark users getting free replacements by contacting the company.

You can superglue it together, my DH did it. Put the new one on your wish list for Christmas or something.

And the mobile phones they sync to: iPhone and Android.

I'm loving my FB Zip, btw, and now with SP syncing, it's even better.

Get the FitBit one, as I'm sure they will phase out the Ultra. It's already down $20 on amazon

If I had an excuse like that I'd upgrade to the one but I love the idea of it syncing with my smart phone (eventually as I'm android) but also the super tight financially side of me says persevere until it truly needs replacing! lol sorry no help!

I was out on my run this past weekend and dropped my FitBit (Classic edition) on the pavement! It still works, but the outer black shell is loose and exposes the electronic components when it isn't in the belt holster clip thing. (ie: I can't sleep with it anymore cause it'll fall apart).

My parents think I should just super glue the black shell back down and that it'll be ok. I'm afraid it'll damage the electronic components more.

Should I go ahead and take the plunge and get a new one? I've had this one since about July of 2011.

If I get a new one, should I stick with the Ultra? Or should I get the new "One"? If I get the newest one, will it still sync wireless-ly with my older base? (I'd love to have a syncing option at work.) Do any of my questions make sense? LOL
