Hi Noei,

Why don't you come by the 300 sparkteam and post it under the beginning workout training plan.

Peace,
Bob

I'd like to join in...should I post here... or on the beginner's thread?

I'll have your beginning challenge workout as my guide.

Wish me luck.

Hey BIG GUY!
Where do we post our amazing results after a torturous workout?

Did Pecs and Triceps yesterday + Abs + HIITs. Bench pressed more than ever! Yippee!

Today I'm attacking the back and biceps.

Jeez, Am I really going to look like those dudes in "300"?

Best to you and all the participants,

ok. I have my own program since I live in the Netherlands and got really tired of translating everything (we have other products and another measuring system)! I'll make sure to plan ahead and enter it, according to one of my own Dutch food programs.

FAZZNET,

These are what I have found to be consistent with my fat loss/muscle program. I am not sure if they are posted anywhere.

For option 3 that is in the nutrition tracker.

Challenge starts Monday. I will post a beginning, intermediate and advanced challenge this weekend.

Some points of interest in weight training:
1) Make sure to eat clean
2) If you do cardio only and do not weight train you will lose fat and muscle. If you do weight training without cardio you will not see the definition.
3) Make sure to eat according to the recommendations posted for your plan. If you don't eat enough carbs you will also lose your muscle. Muscle needs protein and carbs and fat to develop. If you aren't getting enough protein eat a protein shake. Be careful with this excess protein is hard to digest and may give you excess gas...

4) Don't overkill and overtrain your muscles this will hurt you in the long run and will also frustrate you in development. Keep it short and pithy. I usually train for 30-45 minutes a day and do 19 minutes of cardio. Keep it intense and use good form. The form is more important then the weight. Your last rep should be to positive failure.

5) Don't forget to drink lots of water.

6) Don't expect extreme gains and loses over the first week it takes time to develop. I have some friends who have been consistently working out for 5 years and they are rocks!

and most important of all. Forget the pep talk from Peyton Manning about not getting rock hard abs and just getting bigger shirts. You can do it! Be consistent and intense in your cardio and muscle training.

I lost 4 inches around my waste since starting and gained about 5 pounds of muscle in 3 months.

If anyone else has some pointers plop them in.

As always bring it!

Good information on zig zag calorie counters don't use the extreme fat loss you will lose muscle.

Bob

HEY BOB-JOHN!
Sure, I'm in. I track everything pretty regularly and work out 5x weekly minimum.

I'm not sure what my goal is except to not eat outside of my meal times! I'm so bad at that!

Thanks for the idea!

I could use a challenge, if it's based on personal goals. I love the idea of motivating eachother, and will also give me a good reason to log my food/exercises!

I would like to propose a weekly challenge. Since knowing a lot of those on this team probably have different goals and exercises this weekly challenge would be to continue those goals/exercises.

Personally for me it would be 6 days of cardio/weight training and keeping it up without missing a day, maybe even increasing the weight by 5lbs. No need to kill yourself its only for a week.

If we have enough participation maybe we can set up teams with leaders. I am game for being a leader and we can post our results for the week.

If I am a leader I would like to see the exercise and food logs for the week which I can check on your sparkpage and what your primary goal is, no cheating.

Peace and lets get it on!
