Hi! I am the new owner of a 1976 MGB purchased in Nov. 12! I is my dream car, and the one I always wanted! Basically a one-owner car, it had been neglected for 2+ years by the 2nd owner and now it is getting the TLC it deserves and I am driving it!
Not a mechanic, but have a great one, it is in good condition and got it back to being road-worthy now, and enjoying it!
Now, I have to make sure I don't gain weight or I won't fit in it! So....that is a HUGE motivator! So, back on the plan, and keeping active, loving and driving my car!
Just got the old tonneau adapted to fit the roll bar, and fixed the zipper, now we can go topless and keep things buttoned up while parked.
Next....new tires! The current ones are from 1996! Cracked but have a lot of tread, but won't last through our summer, so working towards that....
CA is a car culture state, and everyone I know has a 'CAR' they want!
Just sparking along in my car.....Staying on the course!!
Stay the course!!
Hello team members,
It has been awhile since we have been around. Life sort of got in the way of both our hobbies and our program and it's time to get back to both! I have gained back almost 25 pounds of the 60 that I worked so hard to lose 4 years ago and my Alfa hasn't moved in several months. Maybe there is a connection there.
Is anyone else needing some motivation? Let's get going!
Laughter is to life what shock absorbers are to automobiles. It won't take the potholes out of the road, but it sure makes the ride smoother.
