Its not very often I crave any particular food but I usually have whatever I want just being careful to watch the portion size. Its important to do that when I want trail mix! Calories galore right there. I have to do that when I eat pizza. I have salad before I eat pizza so I only eat 2 slices with dinner~

When I'm craving ice cream, I use my Yonanas machine to make pure fruit ice cream substitute. Just drop in the frozen banana with another frozen fruit and YUM.

Yikes. I have found that when I really, really crave something, it works best for me to go ahead and indulge. Otherwise I never fulfil that craving and end up eating more and worse than I would have if I try substitute, and eventually 'give in' feeling more guilty than if I'd just indulged in the first place. I have learned, however, to be sure & watch the portion! Buy one chocolate chip cooky, not a package
